Hey Bryna, so you can actually send usdt with no withdraw fees on coinbase just make sure it is the same network the reason why I used xlm is because most exchanges have a 15 dollar fee for usdt withdraws and xlm is free basically hope this helps 👍🏼

So yes you can do that I did it this way because most exchanges except coinbase and Gemini have like 15 dollar withdraw fees for usdt while xlm is like 0 but you can use coinbase for usdt 👍🏼
One difference is that USDT uses the Ethereum network (with higher transaction fees) while XLM uses Stellar. Even after the extra step, I assume XLM would be cheaper.
..and this is the 2nd time I'm doing this.. the 1st time worked, but now the 2nd is whitelisted and have to wait 24hrs because it says it's a new address?
So it was nothing wrong.. after the 24 hour wait, I was able to send it to that contract. It's a new policy they started doing.. any new contract, there's a 24 hr wait.

Sometimes gate io is slow like that but you can check the status and memo on gate io where you sent if it takes longer send them a email ASAP to check it out but they are slow sometimes with transactions

Hey Sean just your account I’ve through something similar don’t freak out the exchanges are the ones that approve the withdraws make sure you used the right memo and address if you did and still have not got after a long period email gate with a detailed email with screenshots that you did and they should get back to you fast

When you deposit xlm you need to copy and paste the memo and the address make sure to copy and paste those two things

Yes you can do that I for for about that because usually usdt or usdc have big fees but not on coinbase

Copy and paste the address and write down the memo then type it after you paste the address on coinbase pro

Yes and it think it’s something with the laws that they can’t offer for the regular app so they have two but you can use the same account

Yes there is a way all you have to do is go to deposit then click on coinbase and then send your crypto amount from coinbase no fees
How long does it take to hit ur wallet
It depends on gate io and your other exchange and also the crypto xlm and xrp is less then a minute Bitcoin can take up to 10-20 mins
