    Dear Aida,
you did it great, deep in research materia in few minutes. Great!
Looking something for three zones of water circulacion in karst: vadose, inactive or the zone of vertical circulacion / high water stand zone or the zone of horizontal circulacion and phrratic zone. So I applyed your conversation. Groundwater storage is so clearly presented. Porosity and permeabitity is one of topic worldwide problems in civil engineering. The effective Porosity, for engineering practice, should refere to the area of dynamic, sto red-water quantities in natural reservoirs, where as our interest in the effective porosity in the zone of statics storage should be less important in the effective porosity quantities become exploited by a structure. The situation become more complex when the effective porosity has to be define for the as ending spring. Also the effective porosity in karst is based, as you said on your way, using part of the hydrograph in the dry period of the catchment or generally speaking by using the recession curves. The problem of karst capacity for water storage has already been dealt with in the literature but in your video specificaly explained. For exp.slope! Thank you in the name of researchers of your narative way. At the top we have the epikarst which incorporated both the surface soil and the broken and fissures limestone below it (suscutanrous zone). So I research it. Biological activity soil producer CO and strongly aggressive waters. The agressive waters also encarge the joints in subcutanews zone. However, as the downward flow is slow waters quickly become saturated so that the zone of enlarged fissures is firly thin. This zone is responsible large proportion of the solution that occures in karst.
After 3 weeks I am at yours video link to see permeability of sediment to large topic of water storage as you devided! Recharge zone as you says can be the best topic for FRESH WATER stored in various ways with large amounts stored naturally in ice, embedd in soil and vegetation. Unconfinde and confinde aqufier is important for all you says and for water storage. Water storage in karst is primaly concerned with the construction of the surface storage reservoirs. Strategically significant water is also stored in or behind structures as dams, tanks, retention ponds, farm fields, i. c. In order to ensure their watertightness it has been necessery in the most cases to complet grpunting works with knowledge you have or take some research topic with step by step you have given.
Understanding the current status of the world's water and making better decisions about managing it will create a strong foundation for sustainable development and resilience.
Thank you for effective presentation and first of all that with yours presentatio world with communities and goverment will rethink how to use and manage fresh water to storage but without neglecting CLIMATE CHANGE!
