I was born in Mayfield in 1958. I can remember when that place was packed on the weekend. There would have been cars filling that entire complex. The movies would pause for intermission about half way through and all the kids (including me) would sprint down to a playground complex located at the base of the screen while parents went for concessions. That was the golden years of mid America.
Wow Adam. You meet so many really nice people wherever you go. I really loved this. I'm thinking Justin Scarred would have loved to see all that Knotts Berry Farms stuff. That's one of his and your favorite places if I'm not mistaken. I've seen tons of vlogs from you and him from Knotts. Keep up the excellent work Adam!!
That place was absolutely incredible. That family has found the secret to living a very positive life. Would love to visit there sometime. Thanks so much Adam. Glad you took a chance and rode the lawnmower slide.
One vlog a day just isn't enough sometimes Adam!! Lol. That's my testimony on how very much I enjoy this channel!! I do have a great life, I just like seeing the "world" through your camera and perspective! So glad that you continue doing this each day!
I collect Sega games and VHS!!!! Omg. I'm on my way! That's such an awesome find. ...Adam! If you are around Cave City.. let me know. I have a relative there that could show you around. He's with the Law Enforcement. RC Cola was very popular in Kentucky. Have one with a moon pie!
I'm really glad you got to visit one of my favorite attractions. I go there at least once a month usually just to calm down, and Apple Valley always sets me at ease with the world.
Alright you're in my home state. Of course I'm probably pretty far away. I'm from Florence Ky. You know Adam Florence Y'all lol. Kentucky welcomes the Woo with open arms. Hopefully you'll make it to the Northern Ky/Cincinnati area. Have a great day & most importantly Keep On Wooin my friend.
Woo! I used to go to this place back in the 1990s! I saw The Fifth Element here! They had the best mozzarella cheesesticks ever! They didn't serve them with red sauce, but with "parmasean garlic dipping sauce"!
I could of spent hours looking at all of those toys!!! What a goldmine. Makes me want to go and pull out my old "View Master" and look at old "Brady Bunch" and "Casper" reels.😍😍
Another wonderful vlog! I'm starting to need my Woo fix every morning when I get up. What's happening here? Loved that guys roadside establishment. That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen!
Very cool that you came through my area and videoed a vlog. I live very close to the Cardinal drive In, and used to go there almost every weekend to watch movies on the big screen. I have been to the Apple Valley several times, the owner and family are super friendly. Hope you get the chance to check out Grand Rivers and the Land Between the Lakes Park while you are here.
Welcome to Kentucky! Yep, you're passing close by where I live. My buddy lives right by the Apple Valley place and seen it grow over the years, but I never stopped. Thank you for going where I never dared! Love your videos Adam! Thanks for all your traveling adventures!
after some of the heavy somber tomes of some of the last few blogs. it was cool to have a fun jaunty trip on America's backroads again. I love this video Adam. I watch these as soon as they drop. also I know you're not into theft, but like the one Sega game you pulled out goes for $20 alone on eBay. and there were dozens of those just sitting there! crazy find! keep it up. it gets exhausting I'm sure but it's so worth it to all of us. take care and be safe!
The somber videos always have a special take, and a historic perspective. Dunno if that'll be the case when Adam visits the museum of chainsaw accidents.
Hey you're up in my old stomping grounds! My wife lived in Graves County before we got married and we went to that video store a few times. He had another one in town. Apple Valley is in Marshall County (my home county) in the Sharpe community on HWY 68.
my uncle has just had an operation for cancer and he has binge watched a year of ur daily woo's trying to catch up wiv us all he thanks u he says ur vlogs help with the anxioty, cheers adam feom huge fans, my uncle simon brother craig and me rowan
What a sweet family. I liked their display of puns. My favorite was the valley of old souls. And of course seeing you all take tirns on the slide was so fun to watch. I was amazed with the toy collection and old Knotts books.
That drive-in has not ran i know over 15 to 20 years. the video store had two locations one in town and one at the drive-in i know the owner. I believe that he passed away a couple of years ago. We did manage to get some of the games and movies. the boxes of games that he showed were empty they had foam in them and resealed.
A most excellent vlog Adam! An instant favorite. I'll be watching this again, going frame by frame to look at all those cool collectables. Hats off to that guy. Thank you good sir, you really made my day.
Those were some cool finds! haven't seen that many vhs tapes in almost two decades! I love the puns that the roadside attraction guy had. I bet the Count would be jealous of that guys toy room of insanity!
Careful on those slides, remember what happened last time. You were actually at my old stomping grounds. I was actually born in Fulton, it was a big railroad town back in its heyday. I believe they have a small railroad museum in the city hall and history on the twin cities. Don't think much is left there anymore, not even a hospital. Happy Sunday, Safe Travels!
Hi Adam, love your videos! I actually live 4 miles up HWY 68 from the Apple Valley display. I drive by there every day! Great to see you in our neck of the woods. keep up the great work!
Woo! Adam's in my home state! That abandoned video store was INSANE! Those Genesis games there...man, it would be hard to resist the urge to take them. I can't believe no one has ever wandered in there and walked off with all of those VHS and video games. But now that I think about it, those may have all just been empty cases. I'm sure it's the same at most video stores, but at the one that used to be in my town, they had the empty cases on display and kept all of the movies/games in the back and rented them out to you in clear plastic cases. Though the cases are probably still desirable. Especially the game ones. Absolutely love the Hillbilly Hills place. What a fun bunch of people. I'm glad they got to stick it to the no-fun neighbors. That toyland building is like my dream place. All of those awesome old toys. He even had TWO of the Sherwood Forest playset! Kenner basically just took the old Ewok Village playset mold and re-purposed it into a playset for the Robin Hood figure series that came out later. Don't see it often and it's neater than the Ewok Village because it comes with plastic canopys for the trees.
Not many may think so but the Drive in was the coolest place he has been too yet. I have a Backyard theater in my well backyard. I love old drive in's. Would love to see that in person. Like Adam says "Mind blowing"
Great video Adam. I love how you have genuine interest in these off the beaten path places and the people that own them are happy to show you around. It would be great if (with the people's permission) you'd give info on where to find these places for others to visit. Keep up the good work.
Those electrical fixtures sticking out of the ground said it all for me. That's where the car speakers were mounted. The last place you got into, utterly amazing! And you literally just stumbled into it, right?
I'm so glad you're in Ky and stopped at Apple Valley. Keith has an amazing collection. My grandma is from Mayfield and I had no idea that stuff was still in the drive-in. If you make it to Lexington gimme a holler. I can show you some Jim Varney spots.
Well the wind blew you large Marge out of Tennessee but as always the wind was blowing in the right direction because that was probably one of the coolest places full of silly puns I've ever seen great video bro
So after a few years of watching your videos, hubby and I have officially decided we just want to load up and follow you around, not stalking like, lolol.... You just lead the way, you wont even know we are there... You find the coolest places and people most never ever know exist!!!
That was AMAZING. I've been sick and haven't slept well all night. I took to RUclips and click d your latest video and it really made me happy. Thank you Adam!

Another roadside attraction. Just a little bit what makes this country so quirky and so much fun.
I really love seeing footage of old drive-ins. Not very many of them left.
Adam, watch you everyday and this was one of the best. Those people were really cool. Love, love, love the puns!
