I phoned a national league club for a trial. I hadnt played since i was 13 and that was ONLY half a season.
So realy no competition play at all. Time of trial 25
I tired of watvching no one being able to tackle the dribbler, so i went back and stole the ball from him without even touching him... EASILY....he chassed me and kicked my legs out. Again i tackled him and again he kicked my legs out. Coach told him to stop it.
I was given the ball ONLY TWICE.
I put a first time INCH PERFECT cross into the box to see it connect the head of my striker ,who was EXTREAMLY well marked, wedged between two defenders. He headed it into the back of the net to score THE ONLY GOAL of the game.
So i tackled a guy no one else could EASILY TWICE !! and from one of the two times i was passed the ball put in a pass not many could to take my side to victory. And i was NERVOUS
What if i didnt go back and tackle twice.
So without ME !!!!! my side may have lost. And ME with NO EXPERIENCE!!! made the difference between winning and loosing. I would have played the first year FREE
