Ya patron starts people from andean regions migrating to Cochabamba but actually SantaCruz is the one receiving way more people from Cochabamba, Chuquisaca and Tarija due its great economic growth, boom on high class suburban houses, also way cheaper to acquire land and decent urban planning compared to Cbba or LaPaz. All the best realestate projects are happening in SantaCruz atm.
LaPaz downtown is old but at least 2-3 times larger than the ones in SantaCruz and Cochabamba as well u experience more "city" life inside this area, also better infrastructure around downtown that they could easily revamp it by demolishing or replacing those old buildings falling apart. The city problem comes outside downtown connectivity, CableCar was planned to help out but still not optimal due people mess in the north+east side where theres no parks or good infrastructure for improve people quality of life. The Southern Macrodistrict in LaPaz is the place to live "fine" because is modern and has better urban planning and QoL services, suited for condos and housing too.

Thanks for the video. I'll be visiting La Paz and other parts of Bolivia next year. I will be traveling alone. I like to walk around cities on my own, versus taking a tour/guide. Did you feel safe walking around on your own?

I did. Maybe not super safe like I feel in Leon. Maybe a little less safe than Buenos Aires. But it definitely did not feel dangerous. It's a nice city that I like a lot. Be aware of the altitude, it is super high. Brace yourself, the air is THIN.

Nice. I've always wanted to live in Argentina. Have you ever been there?

I have not, but it is very high on my list to get to. Especially now that we have an office there again.

@@ScottAlanMillerVlog I highly recommend it. Doing the cable car for sure you will capture a glimpse of all the city. I recommend you do the whole yellow line ( estación Ciudad Satélite to Estación Curva de Holguín) and from there take the green line. You won’t be disappointed. And also it is a nice way to know the city without getting tired because of the altitude.
