The Kia Stinger has used the 2.5 for the 2022 and 2023 gt line. With the genesis and stinger being almost the same they will be very similar performance wise
I asked my dealership how much it would be to buy the new Genesis logos to put on my 2023 model. They said each logo costs $350 and that it won't fit on the 2023 models because the new emblems are screwed I to the hood whereas the emblems on 2023 models is an adhesive
Yeah other sedans will smoke it. I do really like the looks and that warranty, as a '20 M5 competition owner, low cost of ownership is important. But Japanese and Korean horsepower and torque aren't the same as German horsepower and torque. Not even close.
@@bigden2755 let's see. I bought an '06 Infiniti M45 Sport new. During the warranty I had a whole engine replaced at 30k miles. By 35k.miles both front wheel bearings. After the warranty, just regular wear and tear, plus tuneup. If course all the scheduled maintenance intervals which weren't covered. Now my '20 M5 competition, a much much more potent vehicle has had ZERO issues. Oil change costs are about $130 at the dealership, I don't wait for BMWs interval. Here we go, $600 Spark plug job $700 20k mile service. $35 plus 15 minutes of my time for in cabin air filter change. $200 fuel system cleaning $2000 set of Michelin PS4s $ 600 for ebc red stuff brake pads and installation (optional I thought the M pads were too dusty) 3 years of ownership, daily driven 30k miles. My Infiniti got to the point it wouldn't pass emissions anymore and the fix was going to run over 4k. I'd still take a BMW, not just an M5 over any Asian competitor, ANY.
@@robdee3152 well I work really hard, and though I checked that car out… I’m not making payments every month for a overpriced Hyundai. I wanted the real deal so to speak.
Lower trim and it’s under $60K if it cost more it would look more luxurious but for under $60K for a luxurious sports is not bad at all the only thing I would want them to add in the near future is ambient lighting and 2-3 inches to the wheelbase nothing over that honestly just 2 inches a be good
I love these Genesis they look amazing.
Im impressed with the Genesis G70, same name as the first book of the Bible. Cool reveiw man.
*BEN YOU NEED TO* MENTION THE 0-60 🏁 times bro!
4.5
Wish could put the 2023 rims on the 2024
This & The new Lexus IS is the best looking in its class currently..
Thanks for the review. Buying the 3.3t from the Lindon store next month.
nice,, the mpg seems kinda low thou
When turning the steering wheel the vehicle should be in motion if at all possible.
Could you say that faster? I actually understood a little of it.
G70 beautiful car to take it to work
did they fix the jerky downshifting at low speeds ?
Waiting for a test of the new 2.5 Turbo 4 cyl.

It's a bargain beemer 3 series. 💵
How does it compare to the Giulia?

You can just buy the GV60 Embelem, they are the same size as the 22/23 and adhesive
@@pkoya341 that's good to know. Thanks!!
This right here is why I love the internet haha solid
Nyc watching car looks nice
In three lifetimes would I buy this over a IS 500 nor a M340i
I have a 19 g70 and the interior is practically identical. A bit of a fail for a car that’s five years newer
Underrated car. Love the looks but went with m340i because i heard reliability of the g70 is not great
Cant say I've ever heard that a Hyundai isn't reliable - plus the warranty that comes with them can't be beat... usually 10/100, 5/50 new vehicle...
@@MaNiMaBaLLa
Hyundai has been known to try to get out of warranty issues.
I’ve never heard this before. Quite the opposite to be honest. Just curious, where you got that from? I’m looking at both so feedback is appreciated.
You think it can be any worse than bmw reliability lol
Where'd you hear that? Never heard such a thing in all the interwebs
The G70 is a great car, but If I had the money, I would spend 10k more and get a Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing
Yea but if that’s the case just save and get a CT5 Blackwing
In Canada the CT4-V Blackwing is 103k. The G70 top trim $61k.
Why? Not disagreeing per say but I think the g70 has the better interior and exterior. Maybe performance but not everyone needs crazy hp.
@@gangatalishis just tune it and get the performance, the aftermarket is there. Not like there’s a crazy aftermarket for V6 Chevys
CT4-V doesn't offer AWD...
What’s the 0-60 ?
About 4.5
2024 and they still have that abomination of center gauge cluster? half analog half digital... why GENESIS? LOL
meanwhile the korean version has full digital dash for 24 lol we get the short end of the stick here
EXACTLY! just baffles me @@Cory69
we also don't the shooting brake
@@Cory69
I find it absolutely hysterical how a "luxury" brand STILL has no digital dash cluster in 2024 😂
Yeah the interiors are very basic and disappointing for so called luxury, even the Hyundai i30 sedan looks better and has digital cluster
It’s only the US that doesn’t have it
Yeah other sedans will smoke it. I do really like the looks and that warranty, as a '20 M5 competition owner, low cost of ownership is important. But Japanese and Korean horsepower and torque aren't the same as German horsepower and torque. Not even close.
Yes. Much more expensive sedans will smoke it.

Great handling car… but for the money, I wanted the real deal. Got a preowned E53 amg
Eww
“the real deal”
what does that mean?
@@robdee3152 well I work really hard, and though I checked that car out… I’m not making payments every month for a overpriced Hyundai. I wanted the real deal so to speak.
Real deal in the amount of money required when it goes to the shop
Preowned ?? If you can't afford a new one, you can't afford a used one....
48K.
It's a TT, not just a T. My 18' Stinger is better. Don't make those anymore either.

The one he reviewed is a 3.3 with no added packages. It’s a base
Sorry, but Genesis took a huge step backwards with the wheel design on the Sport models. No gloss black??!
I think these look more appropriate. I didn’t like the design on the black. Blocked the big brembo caliper
17 in the city is just unacceptable…Especially is 2024. You’ll be living at the gas station if you buy this car!
Those wheels look too busy. And a bitch to keep clean.
