If anyone is having trouble getting Tinfoil to install, make sure you get sigpatches from the previous video. The text guide I followed to get CFW set up did not include that and I figured out that was the problem from watching the previous video.

i cant install tinfoil because once i open the installer in homebrew it says the data is corrupted, i tried reinstalling but nothing works. what video are you talking about btw? there's no video that's about sigpatches on this channel.
if the problem persists get the applet version of tinfoil, that’s what I did and it was able to open 🫶
What worked for me was puting the fusee.bin file into bootloader the payload but when you inject your switch use the regular hekate injection not fusee next you will launch the fusee.bin through hekate payload and now try to download if it says corrupted delete it then download again it took me 3 hr to finally get it

In his previous switch modding video, where he shows the downloads there will be a sigpatches file. Download that and follow his steps to make sure you put it in the right place
thank you kristofer your the best i hate carrying my games arround im affraid to lose them just like i lost mario odysee it was so expensive and i never found it im getting around to purchase it and then i can store it safely god knows how much i hate losing my games and this is a great way to keep my games that cost me so much moolah safe
NUT said "USB disconnected" at first, even though the date and time were set properly. This was fixed by plugging it into a USB-C port in my computer though, so that might be a factor for anyone else who has problems, try plugging it into either a USB-C or USB 3.0 or 3.1 or whatever you got that's highest speed, apparently USB 2.0 might give problems. It might not though, I guess it depends. Thanks for this video though, was very helpful!
PS: The connection did drop after a while but I think the Switch idled out, so it might be important every once in a while to hit a directional or stick to make sure the Switch doesn't fall asleep and lose the connection too.

when I install it from the switch album it says "an error has occurred" my time and dates are correct, please help
Try using a game cartridge instead to launch into the homebrew menu instead of using the album. When launching the cartridge hold the R button and launch the game. It will take you into the "real" homebrew menu. Using the album it only functions at half capacity. That could account for your errors.

It’s most likely that you have old firmware
I found a workaround instead of using the self installer I used the Applet version and it works

Doesnt work. I have the newest version of the payloaders/fuse atmosphere hekate and even tried installing in and out of applet mode. all I get is a "Couldnt not start the software" message, and im using an original switch AND its been modded before
for anyone having trouble getting nut to say connected, try closing nut (with your switch still in tinfoil), reinstalling the driver, and reopening nut. worked for me

I have done everything from multiple guides on youtube and i cannot install games through gold leaf with ubc adapter or Tinfoil. Tinfoil says "an error has occurred, if the problem persists...."(stock nintendo error) I have tried multiple times and follow exactly what your doing....

for me the installation goes really slow(2mb/s) but interestingly enough at the start of the install it goes with 25mb/s , but after like 10 seconds it goes to a constant 2/3 mb/s. Any clue why?

What's difference between .xci and .nsp? And what's prefferable among those two
.XCI is a cartridge dump while a .NSP is a Eshop dump. Hence why if you see online updates and DLCs are usually .NSP. Installing either is fine

USB Disconneted problem:
I did and redid the entire process on one computer and it always appeared "disconnected".
I did the same process on a different computer and it worked. I don't know if it's the Windows version, the cable, USB port... But if you have another computer to try the process it could be a solution.
Hey I downloaded tinfoil but without nut and installing tinfoil drivers but could still download games but for some reason for downloading games the game pictures don’t show and only the names is that normal? Also do I need to go back and download nut and tinfoil drivers?

You have to reinstal the games but keep tye save file

Hi Krisopher! The moment I shut down or restart my Switch I lose everything and have to inject again, is there a way around this, other than simply keeping it on all the time? It's very inconvinient whiel traveling because I can't carry the inject file and program with me and sometimes the switch does run out of charge

When playing these totally legal games offline, can I only play them in CFW or can I play them in base? Additionally, if I accidentally launched one of these games while connected to the internet, does blocking Nintendo server connections as explained in a previous video of yours protect me at all? this doesnt work for me. when i try to install tinfoil on the switch, the switch itself tells me to do a system update and it wont install. is there a fix for this or is it because of the newest version of atmosphere??

Dear Kristopher, I have some problems with tinfoil + NUT. Is internet necessary on laptop when you activate the tinfoil driver + NUT. And do we need to do something with pixel shop in tinfoil? After the NUT, the nitendo goes in RCM mode, when can the rcmclip be removed from the switch?

Thanks for this video! How do I go about adding more games to my switch? Do I need to re-inject the payload etc.? I tried to get a few more games but now my SD card is wiped and the save data also has disappeared for the games I used to have

@@nyakofan7931 you need to watch the first video. The one about doing the softmod / hack initially. It won't work unless you have a really old or early switch model original. Check the serial number on a website google is my switch patched

I did all steps and nuts connected etc. But when I scan for games i cannot find the ones ending with .xci 2nd a game I manage to find and install there is blue cloud above icon and when I click on game icon there is this message "You must have the software in order to play" and has choices cancel or Nintendo eshop. 3rd some games that installed arent visible to game list next to tinfoil. any solutions ? thanks

Is your console banned? I saw you had wifi turned on. Or did you blocking the nintendo servers prevent you from getting banned.

No work. After opening tinfoil on the switch it says: error has occured and when this problem presist to got to nintendo support + a game thing in the home menu poped up but keeps loading.

Can I delete the game files off of my computer safely without screwing anything up? Or do I have to keep them on my PC?
You can delete them when you’re done if you’d like, but if anything goes wrong you’d have to redownload them again to fix it. If you need the space and don’t mind doing that then you should be fine
I don't have a sd card reader on my computer so i bought an usb adapter but the only file that i find in that usb is called Nintendo ? did i miss some step ? mine isnt like yours at all

been having issues lately, worked just fine a few days ago but now whenever I open Nut it goes straight to Loading USB files and stays there frozen
sorry to ask but did you really download the game because i saw the cartrige photo on the game which means that you had it phisically
so, is the rcm plastic thingy, that slides where the joycon goes, only tool that i need to be able to mod the switch, apart from the obvious (pc, usb c cable, software, sd card)?
