I have both PDM Herod and By Kilian Single Malt. They are so similar (in vibe). The differences are so minute, but that scent profile is heaven! Great collaboration ladies!

My favorite house! Awesome that you did this video. My favorites are still Layton and Herod. Layton Exclusif is also awesome and Oajan too. I like Percival but there are way less expensive designer fragrances that are as good in my opinion. I’m not sure about Carlisle because I think it’s way too expensive for what you get. I like Godolphin, a lot more than Tom Ford Tuscan Leather!
Could you do as similar video about the Nasomatto fragrances that you own?
And I would also like a similar video about By Kilian fragrances. Especially Black Phantom, but also Straight to Heaven, Light my fire and Intoxicated. I guess Shelby would fall in love with the packaging of Black Phantom right away, lol.
Demi, if you can get your hands on it, I would like to know your opinion about Cyrus Writer. It’s a cheapie over here, but I’m not sure if it’s available in your area. It’s going in the same direction like Dior Sauvage, but I see it even more versatile.

I got Galloway after watching this video hands down the cleanest smell ever. I noticed people’s reaction as I pass by them almost as if the smell is cleansing them from the inside. Just like my early batch of 1 million after a day on clothing it has a really amazing smell.

I am so glad you like Galloway - it is my favourite spring, summer and autumn perfume (as for summer, not on a hot day or on the beach but more of a garden scent in the shade). Very classy gentleman scent. I like Herod and Galloway best from PdM.
I don't get your excitement though regarding Layton - to me it smells very cheap designer stuff, almost synthetic in its fruitiness. Like something you've bought at a discount store. I prefer Layton Exclusif - much better. I still haven't tried Carlisle but everyone seem to rate it very high and look really forward to try it.
In any case, very good reviews you do and you seem such nice persons both of you - and hot girls too.

I went to Nordstrom in Chicago to go smell some Parfums De Marley- Layton was alright to me, this other one smelled like old woman floral, and Percival though is AMAZING. The sales woman sprayed it on my sweater and it made me want to buy it instantly! I gotta save up some money and buy it! :)
I've never been so torn picking a fragrance. People hate on Percival, but that scent hits so hard. I feel like it's just right for every occasion and season. Suit, Casual, T-Shirt and shorts.......it fits everything. While scents like Herod and Layton are darker and probably fit Fall/Winter better. I also don't know if they would be great for casual or office use.
If u like percival jist the the Abercrombie Fierce and save ur money
I got a sampler of Galloway with a larger sampler of Layton. I loved the Galloway immediately! Ordered a bigger sampler immediately. I find it very compelling. I hope others like it as well.

I have layton and I Love it! Such mass pleaser and a compliment getter. Another perfume I bought who I consider a strong equal to layton, Xerjoff Cruz del sur ii. You should really give it a try! I'm not sure you've mentioned it in any of your videos, but it is absolutely gorgeous 😍

PDM is amazing. Unique scents but almost all of them are mass appealing. “Niche quality designer” is often used as a dig but for what I want it hits the mark.

Percival is what I wear. I often catch the women I work with flare their nostrils a little and get a little wide-eyed when I walk by. Percival maintains that top not of citrus with a just perceptible hint of musk and wood. I won't even tell my friends what I'm wearing b/c it's mine damnit!😜

I was doing sample testing amongst women in Nordstrom's in the US of Perfume de marly and I must say i agree with you that this is by far my favorite house of fragrances and the women in my person test study were very pleased. The majority of young women (18-25 27yr olds) loved Pegasus and I found the majority of 30'40's truly enjoyed Herod and Layton. But I must say I combined the 2 most liked and literally had 2 women say "They just got wet" excuse the reference but was surprised by their response just as you may be. Thanks for sharing and keep up ther gd work🙌🏾

Great video. I want to try more PdM, so far I just know Layton and Godolphin. I was happy with your sisters reaction on Godolphin, because I also don't like it. And I like Layton like she does. So good chance for me that the other PdM she rated high are also great for me.

I love Pegasus, it smells sweet but in a non sweet way, like it's a very fresh, soft, clean and maybe even a cold sweet fragrance.
Unlike many other gourmand sweet fragrances that go into a warm direction suitable for cold months, Pegasus can be easily worn in spring, summer.
Also the sillage is really good and longevity aswell.
Sillage and longevity are not just good, they're monstrous 🤩🤣 Many people think that vanilla notes are pure girly, but those are nothing more but the silly stereotypes. And my pals i gave it to smell, none of them said it smells feminine.
I LOVE Pegasus as well, but now I’m a little bit thoughtful because they compared it to a female fragrance by Dior... No prejudice at all torwards guys who wear feminine perfumes, but... I don’t know! I don’t see Pegasus This Way...
Finally i found someone else who says this!!😂 i always thought it smells sweet in a not sweet way.

This is crazy. As I am watching this, I had two scent strips I sprayed at the store earlier. I had no idea, but....one is layton exclusif and the other carlisle. Sweet serendiptiy!
My top 3 Parfum de Marly fragrances are Layton and Habdan tied for #1. Next would be Oajan with Herod very close.

I tend to agree with Shelby on this one. My favourites from Parfums de Marly: Carlisle, Layton Exclusif, Layton and Percival. Interestingly the latter three are made by the same perfumer.
What rating would you give to herod??
@@89frisco Herod is a fragrance that is sophisticated and mature. It is meant for specific seasons, and for specific attitudes. I personally think it's a masterpiece (for what I perceive of it).
I bought layton based on your recommendation and i would say, money well spent. The best scent i ever owned. Shelby looks awesome too.

@@jonathanzamora1237 tough question- I’d say if you already own Layton, buy Carlisle. If you don’t have Layton, buy Layton Exclusif. I love the Layton DNA so if I didn’t have Layton I would gravitate towards Exclusif, but Carlisle is also fantastic. You can’t go wrong with either. Hit a store to sample both.
@@jamesbroadfoot5269 thing is I never had the oportunity to smell Carlisle is the only one from PDM that I don't know yet, I've heard that is like a "darker" Layton, for me a darker Layton is Layton exclusif so is hard for me to imagine the smell of it.

just picked up my 75ml herod on the blind. i will say, it is powdery, and deep while remaining relatively soft. it is very unique, and very rich, i'm very glad i listened to you and finally leaped. this is my forth pdm, first was layton exlusif, then layton, then carlisle, and finally herod. is it the best one of the bunch, trick question, they are all in a different space. i find layton exlusif to be bold, very business, layton is more playful and mass appealing, carlisle is a beast on me, and it is also very mass appealing. herod is soft and powdery, yet still masculine in my opinion, but confident women can pull this off no problem.

My favorite from parfums de marly is Pegasus.
Saw this video a while ago and decided to buy Carlisle. It is very unique but it didn't really suit me. Have that in mind before buying it if interested, sample it. The bottle it expensive, now probably going to try and sell it for a much cheaper price.
