Hi Chris, I have two 7.4v Li-Ion batteries and when I try to charge them on the Li-Ion setting, the only setting I can set them to is 7.2v, is it safe to charge them on the Li-Po setting where I can find 7.4V? Your input would be great because I have an RC tank sitting in my room collecting dust.
How can the SKY RC be calibrated? My charger shows 3.6V on the display, but when I measure with a calibrated Fluke multimeter, the meter shows 3.3V. That's a big difference. Please write how it can be calibrated.
@@darthtrump4428 no, charging has already been completed, the charger signaled that it is over. I measure the voltage and it shows a big difference on the fluke and on the charger.
Great video thanks! I do have the same charger. I have 4s lipo batterys 6000mah. The charger can only to 5000mah or 5A. Does it much longer to charge with 5A on a 6000mah lipo ? Thanks 😁

Hi can you advise what wiring I would need to charge a LIPO battery with JR/Futaba RX plug as I see the SkyRC T100 has female XT60. I'm new to hobby and trying to order the right wiring for charging the transmitter battery.
Does the % relate to completion of charge of the whole battery or one cell? Charging my 3250mah 2s at 3.2a it said 90% done but flicking through screens it ahowed both cells around 4.1v?
The percentage is for the complete charge Generally these chargers are very accurate. There are other variables like the age of the battery , frequency of use that can effect percentages and charge rates I always tell people once the charger beeps complete you are good to go :) Hope that helped Chris
Great video! I learnt a lot. Is o.k to charge at LESS than 1c? I have 7200mah lipo and I believe this chargers max output is 4.5amp. Also, will the storage charge function discharge the battery if it is in a higher state of charge than the storage voltage?
We use this charger as a shop charger and 5amp on both channels is what we do to it everyday. We sell tons of them and maybe warranty one in a blue moon Go for it !
You need a special adapter to do that. Team associated makes one Check out asc27235. BE CAREFUL when charging as the charge cable is small gauge. That’s cable are great and need converted to xt60 for your charger and you will be good to go
I've have this charger and every time I plug a lipo in I get the connection break message I'm only using the balance ports as this is the way I've been charging them with my stock lipo battery charger..do I need to connect the xt60 leads aswell as the balance leads
Yes it does I do recommend using a separate special discharger for batteries to increase the life span of your charger if that is a feature you use regularly The storage mode will automatically charge or discharge the battery to be safe
Do you have any experience with LiFe? I got a small 6,6v 2s 900Mah battery, without balance leads. The charger isnt happy when it doesnt detect balance leads, so I'm a bit confuddled. If you have any thoughts, I'd appreciate it. Great tutorial.

Well, if the battery has more milliamperes than your charger can charge with, you simply just charge with as much as possible. It’s okay that you charge with a lower amount of amps, than what the battery says, if that makes sense? I’m not the best at English, but hope that it might help you :D
