As A Titanic / Maritime Ocean Liner Historian I Look Forward To Watching This Video. I’ll Make Sure To Give Some Feedback Once I’ve Finished Watching :O) After Watching this video I can say that you didn’t get a single fact wrong, your knowledge of Maritime history is outstanding Lloyd, I’m very impressed. Btw am I the only one who thinks that Bruce Ismay kinda looks like your grandfather? Keep up the amazing work Lloyd.
He also said that the stop went from Southampton England to Queenstown Ireland. Please listen more thoroughly. Titanic also had an additional stop in Cherbourg France.
oh my, im soo sorry to hear that, it was such a great loss that could have been avoided completely. so many lives lost due to ignorance and incompetence.
@@ItsSamHussey it was the company that disregarded the amount of boats, even if they evacuated everyone properly, half the people on the ship still would have died.
Love this!! I’ve always been so fascinated by the Titanic. I am going to the museum in Tennessee next month. I was even in a stage musical version (I was Marion Thayer, wife of first class passenger John Thayer). 😂 Also the reading of the menu part was especially relaxing. A restaurant role play would be amazing!
Imagine being one of the people who worked on the ship as it was being built for years, go home the day after it’s finished and like a week later the things at the bottom of the ocean
Your lo-fi presentation style works really well with this type of video. Takes me back to pleasantly drifting off during long lectures in high school...
Could you please make another video like this Lloyd? Maybe with the sinking of the Lusitania Or Britannic? Or maybe even a history lesson on the rivalry between SS Normandie and RMS Queen Mary? I absolutely loved this!
I watch plenty of ASMR artists on here but I have to give you credit for the amount of effort in your videos. It’s a step above most! I hope to see you succeed and I’ve joined your patreon!
Hay sorry I didn’t reply back but I just wanna say thank you for responding I’ve never had that happen before also I have a idea for a video you could do you should do a baking video you made one 5 years ago and I really liked it it would be a great video idea.also thanks for replying
I'm agreeing with everyone else, it would be so awesome if you did one of these from time to time. Maybe even left field, but I'd be interested in a Vladimir Lenin, Aleister Crowley, Blackbeard, or occult author Éliphas Lévi as an episode subject, just to throw a few out.
I am retired now but many years ago as a nursing assistant, I cared for an English lady here in the Boston area who had originally booked passage on the Titanic. For some reason she changed her mind and took another ship.
This Video was so incredible, i finally learned what RMS Stood for! Thank's LLoyd! Certainly Better then my history class, i tend to fall asleep in it, like this glorious video. :D
Above my door I have a novelty Titanic circular painting that through tired eyes I would glance up at whilst listening to this very interesting lesson.
I have not yet watched this yet but already know it is going to be amazing. I am OBSESSED with the Titanic and having it combined with ASMR will be awesome to listen to and will send me off to sleep.... in a good way haha :)
I usually drift off to sleep to your videos, but this one was just too interesting!!! I'd love to see more historical content of any kind from you. My only critique is that I would've liked the lecture to be kept in more of a chronological order, since the first half of the video jumped around just a little bit. Otherwise, this is possibly another favourite! Thank you so much for doing what you do.
I actually had a History teacher that had the most mono toned voice that I just could not stay awake in his class. This video reminded me a lot of that.
