Just move to higher ground .
Most of these miserable " Doom and Gloom" advocates live like
capitalists , but would not forgo their wealth, while advocating Marxist and Socialist ideologies on the people that are most vulnerable.
" Climate Change " keeping their peasants under control , while truly knowing the natural cycles of fire , floods , earthquakes etc have caused more damage , and will continue to do so , than their divisive predictions about
      the world's demise.

A native and lifelong resident (seven decades) of southeast Florida here, in the 90's Al Gore promised my living room would have three feet of water sloshing about by the year 2000.
I still have to drive six miles to see the ocean.
By the way, in 1966 the Council of Rome predicted *massive deaths* due to a rising worldwide population that would outgrow food production by 1970.
When that didn't happen by the mid 1970's, *Global Cooling* was the fear being promoted.
When that didn't happen by the middle 1980's, *Global Warming* was all the rage.
When that didn't happen, Climate Activists wisely changed their cause to the ambiguous *Climate Change.* To support their claims that modern, industrial civilization was the evil cause, they pointed to hurricanes, blurring the lines between _climate_ and _weather._ The Climate Activists point to the increase frequency of hurricanes since the 15th and 16th century. They do not admit that the accuracy of modern weather monitoring does not compare to the records of Spanish and English seafarers of the time.

The internationally-accepted 'sea-level rise' is 2.5mm a year. That's 1-inch in a decade. Miami is 6-feet above sea level. That's 720-years to build seawalls like Holland has.

However a friend told me that the water is coming ashore in Miami routinely and it is frightening. She was eating in a restaurant and suddenly their feet were covered I water and then the parking lot was a foot underwater. They were told to go to their cars and drive home. It finally receded. She said they were astonished. Sometimes water covers the streets all day it just comes a d goes.

It's not that simple, though, Robert. You give a global * average * but the sea doesn't rise evenly everywhere as there are local geographical features to consider, as well. We can see this already by the fact that there's a dramatic and long-observed variation in difference between local high and low tides around the world.

Do the math. While sea levels have risen "rapidly" in last 20 years (3" total) that is .15 inches per year average. So 10 years more, 1.5" in rise. So at that rate, 100 to rise 15"! 200 years, it's still less than 3ft. Even snails can procrastinate heading inland for several decades and still stay dry.

Always hear that soon land would be taken over by water because water is more than land and sea level are rising at a rapid pace. Guyana is in the crosshairs of this phonominon

Our leaders could act regarding the suggestions of climate scientists. If God exists, he is only doing his job, changing the climate to make it harder on the specie causing it.
