Well it really depends on where my workplace is. If I'm still focusing on producing videos at home and I have the choice of flexibility, this would be a bit more attractive. But if I'm working in the island, it's gonna be pretty tough to go through the traffic everyday.
Fun fact 1+ hr from farlim to bayan Lepas per journey during peak hours Vs 20 minutes at the expense of rm5.80 toll fees, time or money? Some what if the lrt construction is ongoing, imagine the traffic.

Yes Laura. There will a fee known as maintenance fees that we need to pay to the maintenance office. But this only includes strata titled properties such as high rise and gated and guarded communities like this one. Residents won't need to pay maintenance fees if they are staying in those conventional individual titled terrace houses. Hope that clarifies. Also, thanks for watching!!

@@iherng subsale. Ppl always think of buying new houses. But a real story of my brother.. he regretted so much for buying new landed house as it's more pricey and smaller in size compared to subsale. He could have gotten a bigger + good condition (fully renovated) house at a same price. But he didn't do enough homework before buying. Now he has to fit his family into the smaller hse + fork out money to renovate his "small" house. There's always gem in subsale / lelong. We just need to be patient and do more research. Some old ppl want to sell their hse bcoz all their children is married / oversea. They have a decent hse, fully furnished. Ready to let go at a bargain.
Well because the length of the house is shorter, this is the best fit to maximize the area so every room can enjoy en-suite bathrooms=) But I do agree it's not the best, but I enjoyed the ceiling height and the window above the stairs!

This is a good customer experience for buying property from a branded developer who has taken care customers' needs thoroughly. The sub-sale price of any Ashton FREEHOLD units will easily command more that a million in view of a quality layout design house and serene compound which is hardly found in Penang . As the feedback from happy owners, they are now becoming the king maker to mark up the price above 1 million since it is too "sayang" to let go at a lower price ...
It's definitely honest, hahaha!! Generally developers will engage me to produce such reviews to be discussed with audiences like yourself, but they don't get to dictate what I say in the video. And it's also incredible on the developer side to promote my videos that have negative points about their product and that demonstrates their transparency. Not all developers are comfortable with a 3rd person like me walking around criticizing their projects. They would rather just hire pretty people to read scripts:) Slowly but surely, I'm super glad that developer are starting to embrace transparency in their communication and it's definitely beneficial for everyone. But it's a growing township, say 50% of the potential already factored into the price, and another 50% to grow. With the new names in the BKIP, last phase that comprise 1400unit cluster unit in Dawson may not be able to cater the demand, there goes my exit plan in case I am broke. Hahaha

I know I'm in the extreme minority, but it's kind of disturbing that one's house can only look almost exactly or exactly like all other houses in the area, and not even the colour can be different. It's kind of robotic and conformist living, a bit like Soviet Union standardised apartment blocks. Perhaps most people nowadays don't care about how their houses look on the outside and it's all about internal comforts and amenities? Anyway, good video as always.

But it can also be disturbing that your neighbour can turn into whatever they want, and the arguments always revolves around the party wall *shared wall. Also, the uniform looks only applies to the facade. Owners can still do up whatever they want in their interiors. For the SL houses should at least allow some different colour to the facade, some light/pastel colours. Adds a bit of aesthetic to the neighbourhood. Btw - if you do come across any unique apartment project that does extensive soundproofing of each unit (not just from exterior apartment noise, but noise from other adjoining units) do make an episode. Would be very interested to look into it. Thanks for all your efforts.

Some of my favourite cities/town centres can be found in Prague, Colmar, Bamberg, Amsterdam..and the old houses/buildings there are colourful and distinctive in a very elegant way. I'm extremely sensitive to sound, so the only viable soundproofing in a terraced house is to build a soundproof room within a regular room (some people will say a 'tomb'). If I could go back and redo things, I'd work much smarter, get more $$$ and buy a bungalow in more affordable area instead.
