I discovered him in France when he was endorsed by Vigier back in the day. And he is still is. I listened to his album Hermit. I was like wtf is this? This guy is unreal.
It does when they are practiced runs, and not melodic. EVH would do this, and you Could sing his solo afterwords, because he sang on his instrument and had a language. This guy is great, but if he incorporated the melody into those runs, it would have been stellar. And stop calling it "shred", thats so fucking cringe.
