Honestly, after living life parallel to Mordecai, he was a shitty person leading up to him making the realization himself to better himself. Which I feel he did in years returning to earth in the end of the show we didn’t see. It really takes time to reflect and resolve your problems in your life to not be shit to others even when you don’t even mean to be. He really was a bad friend with good intentions until he learned how to be a good friend. Yeah there’s supposed to be some kind of new continuation of sorts (I heard it’s called Regular show: The Lost Tapes, but I’m not sure if that’s official) excited for new stuff none the less!

Mordecai was a really good friend. Rigby always gets him in trouble with his boss. And rigby made him believe he failed college. Rigby never graduated highschool until the last season
