I stayed on Soi Chiyapoon. I liked the area. Looking forward to my next trip
I was happy staying on Soi Chiyapoon with Soi Buakhao, Soi Diana, Soi LK Metro, Soi Boomerang and Soi Honey being an easy 5 minute away. How does Soi 6/Beach Road compare?
Stayed at altera hotel last year and it was a few minutes walk to soi 6! Had a great time as always. Can’t wait to get back!! Repent bar was my go to the last couple visits.

I think that empty lot is associated with the Mera Mare Hotel (next door to the Hard Rock). They (or affiliated hotel group) are expanding on that side...Beach Road to 2nd.

I personally would not stay on Soi 6. Soi 7 is close by and is a bit more quiet especially if you stay near 2nd road. My recent Pattaya stay I was at Blackwoods and had a good experience there. Also ... McDonalds sucks haha! Bleh!
