    I've started used laundry detergent sheets at home and plan on bringing those during my travels for both machine and sink washing

    I found this very interesting. Thanks for the tips. What about a skirt or dress for women?

    Thank you for the tips! I have the eBags Mother Lode Jr backpack and it is a really good backpack.

    Thanks for the great video. I now buy shorts and pants with pockets that have zippers to thwart pickpockets. I also use a PacSafe backpack and wallet that have many security features though the backpack is heavy. You don't travel with a lot of electronics and I find that adds some complexity to packing (i.e. having a GoPro, Mirrorless camera, in addition to a phone). I just purchased a Scrubba to see how it works doing laundry in the hotel myself. I will check a bag, and hope I don't regret it. I think packing light takes real commitment and I admire your efforts. Happy travels.

    great video, thanks. i pack light, but i’m always looking for more tips. question: if you are using a backpack style carryon and you bring a backpack as a personal item, how do you manage them both without using the turtle method? that’s always my dilemma when i go to europe, since it’s a longer trip and i end up needing both for my camera, etc.

      Haha, yeah I like the "turtle" method (one backpack on the back, one backpack on the front), because I like that both hands are free and it balances out the weight. However, the bags I use also have a handle on the sides, as you might see in the video, and I can then use it as a carry bag or even attach a shoulder strap and use like a duffle. Lots of options, and always nice to have options! Hope that helps.

    After the backpack and and personal item bag packed, what are the the carry weights?

      My main bag weighs about 12 - 16 pounds... but could be a bit more if I packed a little heavier or had more electronics.

    Hi . How many cobblestone streets are there or one may encounter in Europe ? Thx

      @AdamDeSerio  2 года назад +1

      Probably a lot. Obviously depends on where you go, but Italy for example has a lot of cobblestone streets. For the most part they are pretty smooth, but still can be annoying with small wheels if you had a wheel bag.

    Name brand of pack with wheels?

      High Sierra was the one in the video, but they no longer seem to make that bag anymore. eBags, Osprey, and other brands make very similar or even better bags, so check those out! Hope that helps.

    Headphones?

      I use the Bose noise canceling earbuds, others like the Bose noise canceling headphones. In my opinion the noise canceling feature is a must! Makes a huge difference on long flights! As for brand, it is up to your personal preference and budget. Hope that helps!
