Literally JUST built a ramp for an airbag on Tues and was in the process of making a far less entertaining video lol. Double the height minus one is definitely the radius formula but I like your idea of making the last foot flat!
I got a random phone call from a friend at Bag Jump, that knew I lived nearby, to deliver that exact bag to Fox Factory for them and I unfortunately couldn’t that day. I regret it even more now.
Wow this is awesome. I recently built a couple jumps for a crankworx speed and style event and they looked very similar to this only even more massive. The whole time we were building them, we were laughing at how absurdly huge these jumps were and how insane it is that people can actually hit them. Unfortunately the event got cancelled due to weather so I never got to see anyone hit my jumps.
Getting to build a MTB ramp for one of the the biggest suspension company in US or probably in the world is huge but not for Seth he does this everyday (unless he is injured🤕🤕)
FYI string can stretch when drawing a radius. Use a screw for the pivot point, drill a hole in a 2x4 at your desired radius length. Insert a marker and draw the radius.
this 100% never use a string for a radius. if you want a nice cut, even screw your saw to the 2x4 at 10,5ft and straight cut the radius for a perfect curve. a smooth curve feels so much better.
Seth would you ever consider building a wooden dog house and play area for Oscar down by the trails. It would make a cool vid and keep the pup safe when your shredding down at the trails.
If you are painting the surface and want more grip, you can add Rust-oleum Anti-Slip additive (made for boats) to your paint. Worked great for my concrete front porch steps
that was sweet! 🤘 awesome video as always sir greetings from the Philippines you had inspired alot of people here getting into mountain biking Godbless!
Anyone else catch this? At 9:10 Seth said “Kevin had left with an airbag and returned home with an empty trailer” thought he left with a jump 🧐 either way I love the videos they never fail to put a smile on my face
You are my favourite RUclipsr you have inspired me to get me a friend group that build jumps I think we are locally hated because we build jumps hope you see this Seth
WOuld encourage the use of waterproof glue. Also, I suggest to use fresh waterproof glue - once the bottle of waterproof glue is opened, it has a shelf life - this may not apply to all waterproof glue, but learning this cost me a lot of time and money once.
Nah this does not seems like its something permament i mean cmmon they are box company one of the biggest bike parts producers and they are using something seth bundled up in garage its good but it wont live up to see glue losing its abilitys
Very cool DIY vid and cool opportunity. I couldn't help but notice the Fox suspension event with pro riders using Marzocchi suspension? Either way, still cool.
I loved how encouraging the pros were of Kevin's test jump!
Yeah that probably got Kevin stoked
Just good dude's encouraging a fellow dude, I LOVE to 0.O it 🤘
Yeah pro’s are always really friendly
Yeah this was totally uplifting and reminded me rad humans exist
Tommy Zula is one of the sickest dudes out there!
Finally a build vid, can’t wait for more thumb bucket episodes
same
Same, this is sick
Yes
And I’ve been waiting for a “moonshangle thickets” video
sammeee
Same
In the future mix sand with the paint you are using for the riding surface it'll give it a more grippy surface for carving and wet conditions🤘

Hahahah rip
The memory that'll haunt you Forever*!
*Maybe
It's basically a giant MTB Hopper haha, looks mint!!
OH yeah
Only Seth would lean that lumber up against an expensive light fixture haha
The lumber is more expensive than the light fixture!
And then stand right under it 🤣
Seeing the Berm Peak notification is the best part of my day 😅😳
True
That’s a little bit better than my “lay plywood up against a couch and send it” ramps 👌🏻
Yup just a little
I love all of Seth's videos they bring a smile to face when he posts

Hey Brian
super cool! any idea of the hight and radius of those ramps you built? just curios if that formula stands true?
Thanks
You know you've done it when Fox asks you to build a ramp for them
No wayyy every Seth video is the highlight of my day
Fax
i love how he keeps the parts in where he messes up, makes it so much more relatable
I love it how you painted it with a BoXXer-like red rather than a Marzocchi-like red.
Other youtubers: just riding and doing tricks
Seth: teaching us maffs

Hey snbs mtb 😎
Always an inspiration! Trying to channel my inner Seth; tackling projects with smarts, riding by better skills & keeping it chill the whole time.
This was the Oscar content I needed, didnt even watch the actual build. Cant believe how big of a boy he has become! I love the lil dude 😍
this was the funest vid since the mocros crawler corse

You definitely have to build one for his backyard! So pumped on the new upload
I love how inventive and smart Seth is the way he sees stuff is completely different to everybody else.
“I’ll show you what i had in mind”
Proceeds to show his adorable bulldog
Finally a new upload!
Never thought that a mountain bike video would be math class
I love how Seth was barely able to build a work bench in 2017 and now he’s making huge ramps with ease in 2021
The magnet below the bottle opener was awesome
I was waiting for this for ages
You made this much more advanced than I could even think of
My boy Tommy Zula! He’s so fun when he comes into our bike shop.
Kevin! Props to you for sending it. I wish you had a second shot at landing it.
Seth would you ever consider building a wooden dog house and play area for Oscar down by the trails. It would make a cool vid and keep the pup safe when your shredding down at the trails.
that would be sick
Seth always doing big things🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Man I am amazed by the woodworking skills of Seth 😅

Love seeing you getting back to building jumps, hope there is more to come in the future.
Seth, you are really damn good at this, salute!!
I love how the pros asked if he was going to try a tuck on his test jump
Great videos! I never miss a single one.
Who "thumbs down" any of Seth's videos, honestly?
I love when all creators at the end of their videos say that they will leave some info in the description..and they never do... lol
If you are painting the surface and want more grip, you can add Rust-oleum Anti-Slip additive (made for boats) to your paint. Worked great for my concrete front porch steps
Actually a very sick and good ramp
New business.. Berm Peak Ramps.. We build, You shred !!!!
You always do solid work, but I love the extras you add to all your projects!
I want an unedited video of you pumping up an airbag with that pump.

I’m just loving this video!! I may session it for a couple of hours!!
Thanks for the entertaining content!
back in the late 80's we would use a 6 foot radius for our skateboarding halfpipe!
I love your videos Seth and I hope you have a fun time
Legend has it Oscar is still in the back of the truck to this very day.
“Safety first”
Proceeds to put Oscar in the truck bed
This is amazing

e d your the one why I started mtb
thank you seth! learned a lot!
Finally a good video!
Bless you seth!
Nice work. You should have branded the thing with a Berm peak Logo. Could have been a nice way to use the branding iron or to make stencils.
Fantastic video, Seth!
Hope to see Kevin's tuck-no-hander next time.
Seth Got the fresh cut SHEESH
Wow nice jump and wonderful dog😀
Great video and great you shared the specs 👍👍
