    14mm socket. Nkg plugs do not use anti seize. They come with a coating on the threads from the factory. Use a air gun to blow any dirt,oil and debris from plug holes before removing the plug.

    That Milwaukee handheld tool looks like a game changer. If you don't mind me asking, how much did that run you?

    How are these 2.0 boxer’s?

      ‘14 Impreza was the first car the wifey and I bought new. 140k miles, engine runs strong (not powerful, but still strong). Burns a little oil, but no issues otherwise.
      I’d be a little more concerned about those CVTs - just had a valve body replaced for about $2k and has really been the only big issue in this car in just shy of 10 years of ownership.
      Other than that, we’ve done regular maintenance - that’s it.

      Pretty reliable, especially the newer 2.0’s you wont have to worry about head gasket exploding or oil or gas guzzlers as long as you get one thats well maintained. Definitely not a race car tho, avoid going above 85-90mph in those

    No anti seize?

    • @AutomotiveDysfunction
      @AutomotiveDysfunction  9 месяцев назад +1

      No .. some will argue to use anti seize some not .. I guess if you put anti seize on spark plugs threads it will burn inside of engine

      @cyberpun2552 9 месяцев назад +1

      Why? You are not tighting lug nuts, just dialectric grease on the coils

      NGK says very specifically, do NOT use anti-sieze in their plugs. @@AutomotiveDysfunction

      Plugs use a coating and don’t need it, my annoying ass neighbor kept saying to use it on his tho and kept saying if I knew it was so easy I would have done it myself. Had to take off intake manifold on his Buick enclave too. I’m like yea my back doesnt agree after leaning over the hood for over an hour
