Zozi made excellent points in her desire to influence young girls to be leaders and, similar to boys, to take up space. She also nudged men to follow women in their character to be a little more kind.
Watch below as she also elaborates on the African culture in the continent of Africa and how it compares to African culture in America.

- MISS UNIVERSE
That's the attitude to have towards life disappointments
@@semoneg2826 nah. Those other girls who lost against Zozi have no chance to compete again in Miss Universe. My point is sometimes you have to accept that there are things not meant for you. Catriona Gray's quote in her farewell speech speaks more volume. "You are never denied, you are just redirected."
Amen!🙏
@@woojinbloo44 Even so, they still have their national pageant title and can do a lot of work with that. If they let the fact that they lost Miss Universe blind them to that opportunity, that's a flaw in their thinking
@@zintlemvana7955 "My point is sometimes you have to accept that there are things not meant for you. Catriona Gray's quote in her farewell speech speaks more volume. "You are never denied, you are just redirected."
" You clearly missed this part.
People dont realize just how awesome this woman is like she won the biggest pageant in the world with all the odds stacked against her, she is a dark skinned Black woman (not Biracial like miss teen USA and miss USA) and she did that coming from a continent where black people from that continent are considered the most unimportant black people in the world and achieved this with her own short natural fucking hair like do people get that?!!!
Duncan Deeks we feel it every day 😭
Yaaaaasssss! She rocks!!! So love her!!!
Chills man
She's African, she's not African American. She's not Black as Africans don't use the term, that term was created here in the USA during the Black Power movement of the sixties... And by the way, there are millions of ethnically mixed Africans and even White Africans. And yes, people get what you are saying, however, she won the Miss 2019 Universe Pageant in the USA... Do you get that?... :)
@@LisaRobinson0725 Okay captain obvious we know she is not African American, and are you telling me that the term "black" was created during the sixties in America because that would be a load of BS. Im sorry to break it to but the world doesnt revolve around America and not everything that exists today was created by America i know you feel like it is but its not your fault Americans are known to be ignorant when it comes to the rest of the world. And dont tell me what term Africans use as i am South African born raised and living in South Africa i should be giving you the lesson on what "terms" Africans use not the other way round. And lastly that pageant is has been held all over the world before and where its held makes no bloody difference the fact is she won DO YOU GET THAT?!

When Sway says that he'd like to see guys not be afraid of a woman's power and step aside and let us shine. YES!!!
Where's that 'female power' stepping up and shining when that London bridge attack happened? Oh yeah all the women FLED and let the men rush in to stop the attacker.
I can appreciate women trying to feel good about themselves and trying to lift themselves up, but lets be real. When the shit hits the fan and real trouble is happening, women all of a sudden decide not to be very 'strong and independent' and run to men for protection.
I'm MORE THAN WILLING to step aside and let 'a woman's power' shine in dangerous situations, but I somehow feel women won't like that. LOL
Not surprised. I know his older sister and his mom and they are exceptionally strong women.
@TurquoisePurpleSky Sky
'Each person has their own lane. Men have theirs and women has theirs.'
You're exactly right. The problems arise when women encroach into a man's lane and believe they are just as capable if not more so than men in handling a predominately male job or task.
Too often women do much more poorly when allowed to do what is usually 'a man's task', but somehow we have to pretend that they're just as able to do it compared to their male counterparts even if reality says otherwise.
This is why I find it hilarious that any women would think men are holding them back, when given every chance to succeed women often come up short.
UzuMaki NaRuto
When has women ever encroached in a man’s lane. Women want their own spaces and chance at equal opportunity. Women should not be as men. But women need to have equal opportunities to contribute positively to the world
Only strong guys can do that

Wisdom and intelligence can only be prepared starting when you're young and being exposed to different societal problems. You can not "prepare" your wisdom and intellect with just months of "training".
She is not just smart and beautiful, she is also witty. A very quick-thinker especially in the last part. She's the best!!
Most black SAfricans are quick thinkers, but its just that they ve never been given a platform to show how brilliant they are. I'm glad Zozi s out there to change the narrative that has been wrongly fed about us.

I hope to live in a world where Black women fully embrace their natural hair.
Xd me too
Patrice Sankara and our natural features.
So do I
Black women do embrace their hair, I see natural hairstyles all day long as thats been happening for about ten years now in the USA. African Amerian women have diverse skin tones and diverse hair types; very few people trip over that nowadays. No one cares. Women, all women, can wear their hair any way they like.
@@LisaRobinson0725 I know women can wear hair whichever they want, Men too, which is why we rarely ever stray away from our natural hair. We just wish our Queens would wear the crowns we wear as worn by our ancestors instead of the appropriated Eurocentric one.

Two women are not Black stop Jim crow law.
In societies that regard some races or ethnic groups of people as dominant or superior and others as subordinate or inferior, hypodescent refers to the automatic assignment by the dominant culture of children of a mixed union or sexual relations between members of different socioeconomic groups or ethnic groups to the subordinate group.[1] The opposite practice is hyperdescent, in which children are assigned to the race that is considered dominant or superior.
Parallel practices include patrilineality, matrilineality and cognatic descent, which assign race, ethnicity, or religion according to the father, mother, or some combination, without regard to the race of the other parent. These systems may not be mutually exclusive with hypo- and hyper-descent, since either parent (or both) might be of mixed race.[clarify]
Attempts to limit (or eliminate) mixed-race populations by legal means are defined in anti-miscegenation laws, such as passed by various states in the United States.

I am not concerned with or worried about what WHITE or ASIAN WOMEN are doing or how they are styling their hair !
They are not the REAL victims of psychological indoctrination by the Media, Establishment and Status Quo through subtle marketing and advertising aimed at turning women into their EURO CENTRIC IMAGE .. because you live in a westernised country who's people don't accept you for who you are especially in the USA
This assimilation programme is backed by the cosmetics industry to push forward the agenda which is ingrained into the psyche of the mass populous .. ie .. Women having long flowing BLOND / BRUNETTE hair
After all, that's is how the industry makes it's Billions $ . € . £
Whether EUROPEAN or ASIAN women are wearing false hair or extensions ( And many definitely do ) .. One thing is CLEAR for sure
They are not wearing BLACK PEOPLE'S hair or the morjority certainly aren't mimicking black hair styles .. eg .. Afro's, Plaits or Cornrows
Which can't be said of BLACK WOMEN, those ones wearing European or Asian Hair, who decide to have Weaves, Extensions and False hair
I'll rest my case

It's obvious that she is an incredible speaker with a high level of eloquence, aside from being beautiful. However, i think what also got her the crown is how GENUINE she looks. On the stage until now, all her demeanors don't seem "rehearsed". Some of those girls in the Top 5 were equally strong, but some are very staged, even the way they stand and pose. I don't think judges favour that kind of pageant girls to win. They want to see girls with their genuine personality. That's why Catriona and Zozi took the crown.
Ardika Pradnya I agree with you, she sounds like she genuinely believes in the values she talks of and not just saying it because it’s hip to say some of the stuff. Because I guess if you were just good at answering Miss Universe judges’ questions on these complex world issues because you had prepared well for the competition and you didn’t truly believe in what you are saying, cracks will show after you win as you start doing all these countless interviews with world media like Zozi has done. So I think the judging panel has to choose most authentic, articulate, smart and beautiful queen...what a task to have to find all of that in 1 person?!
@@thandisilec835 What a task indeed! And yet they found it in Zozi, a true gem, equal parts inspiring, beautiful and genuine
