About RWBY:
It's been several months since the Fall of Beacon, and the world of Remnant is still recovering. Tensions are high, lives have been lost, and the members of Team RWBY... are divided. Yeah I'm pretty sure it is to reflect an attack or stike direced on him back onto the attacker.

4: Yang seems to be unable to fight anymore
Yang can fight it's just that losing her arm makes her traumatized and think of when she lost it
What about the wound on Cinder's face?
Someone on tumblr was complaining that if she lost her arm in reality she would have a drive to become a fighter because of it. And im just like "If you lost a limb to someone significantly stronger than you and they cut your arm off without even trying you would be absolutely mortified!!!"
5. The left side of Cinder's face is scarred.
Also it seems that yang is heading to Vacuo, Ruby is heading to Mistral, Weiss is in Atlas, and Blake is in the faunes island.

that was a long ass setup but well worth it.
President Penguin there was not a transition from quarter to dime, nor would it posible to add it since a quarter split is not a dime. You gave up the integrity of logic for a joke, logic that most people miss and be able to enjoy the humor, but those unlucky to notice have the joke ruined.

there is a viable pattern to the initial joke, the decreasing value of currency. yes there was a half dollar coin.

I see a lot of people complaining about the opening and art style. However this is exactly what happens EVERY time there is a new opening people complained about it. Remember the amount of people who complained about volume 3 opening, and how much it then grew on people.

To me, this feels like the actual start to RWBY. The first 3 Volumes were the prologue.

Overall, this IS the start of RWBY. The last chapter in VOL 3 was called "The End of the Beginning". Also, in documentaries and stuff, the producers of RWBY themselves stated that VOL 3 and beyond was where the actual story and beefiness of RWBY picks up. Everything beforehand is just setting up the universe and the characters, etc.

So, Salem has four "underlings" that directly communicate with her. We know that Cinder (Guessing she is the second from the bottom) was possibly Salem's person in Vale, so all of them could be in each Kingdom.
Another point is that in the bible, there are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (shoutout to Overlord Metalex), I can't figure out the order of them yet, but we might know as the season moves on.
Also each one for the Maidens.

We use the volume 4 World of Remnant's to find out. The first guy is a tough thug, meaning that he is from Vacuo. Cinder, well, we'll come back to her. The third guy is a wily assassin-looking guy, so he is from Mystral. The last guy is a fancy and intelligent-looking man, so he must be from Atlas. This means that Cinder must be from Vale, which makes sense, as that is where she was the whole time in the first season.
KingChickenwing, Cinder's from Mistral but she was sent to Vale to make Beacon fall and to deal with Ozpin.
Does wheezy actually watch RWBY or does Gunna? Lmao rappers got some interests I never expected them to have.

Soooo judging from the colored orb things at the beginning and where they land on the map...obviously weiss goes back to Atlas (which we already knew) Blake goes down to that island in the bottom right which i THINK the world of remnants said is where Faunas mainly live, Yang stays at home (at least for starters) to train and deal with some PTSD type stuff going on with her. and Ruby goes to Mistral.
So excited we get to see more of the world, one of the VERY few complaints I had about volumes 1-3 is that we never really explore outside of beacon

Some possibly important details I've seen are
1. When yang falls, Adam is in the background, this could either be a reference to the last season and how her mind is on a downward spiral caused by Adam (her lack of an arm) or it could literally mean that she falls (dies) to Adam
2. Every member of RWBY looks behind them except Yang
3 Cinder has a scar on her face
4 The music is so different, in S1 and 2 it was vibrant and almost care-free, s3 was so heavy, it just layed it onto you immediately, but s4 seems like a "glory after the fall" sort of deal
5. The colors are also different, very bright

So don't get me wrong I am all for new characters in this show but I do really hope we get to see more familiar faces from the characters from the previous volumes too. unpopular opinion but this is the best season in the series
How so?
burstcapillaries 02 a lot of people prefer season 3 for the action, but I really like season 4 cause of its theme. It’s all about moving on when faced with loss or hardship and I think the season does really well with this theme. With the other seasons tho, it’s harder to see a theme (except season 7, that was a lot about the infamous Train Problem. Should you sacrifice a few for the many? And etc.) I know season 6 also dabbles in this theme but it really does it sloppily imo. Also even the opening of this season serves to enforce the theme, with those last words “Move Onward Not There Yet” spelling out MONTY, the name of the series creator who passed away just after season 3 was finished. It’s only fitting that they would explore themes of loss after experiencing loss in the show through Pryah and many others and also outside of the show with Monty.

And even if it isnt predictable, you re making me prepare myself for a certain type of mood, so that moment wouldnt surprise me that much later

Anybody else think that Cinder looks almost remorseful? The other big baddies are in suitably baddy positions, but when it shows Cinder, she turns her head down, closing her eyes. That strikes me as her feeling shame or regret for what she's caused. Could just be depression,coping with the damage Ruby did to her, but perhaps she begins having a change of heart this season? The lack of Em and Merc in the sequence also make me wonder if something happens to them, which could put more credibility into this theory
I think she feels regret for losing to an opponent she should have been able to defeat, Emerald might have a change of heart but I doubt Cinder will.

pdubz603 i have a theory about it. Do you remember in volume 3 when the bad guy who steal dust in volumen 1 (dont remember his name) says that he cant stop salem plans, so he joined her? This may be an explanation, and cinder is preparing a betrayal, proposed by ospin, who isnt death, but waiting to the moment to act.
This actually feels like an entirely different series. Kinda makes the first 3 volumes feel like just a huge beginning sequence- which I guess it was, given that Monty, Miles&Kerry have like 12 seasons or so more planned out.

because it was? xD the last chapter of volume 3 was named "the end of the beginning"
(plus I don't remember where they said it but the first three volumes were meant to be the intro of the series because they had planned to have the story go outside of the whole school setting)

Actually, I think it may be something as simple as seeing more of the world. This is obviously partly due to the vast increase in budget and production values, but we're now seeing more of a world; terrain, backgrounds, vistas, horizons, etc. rather than just a few locals. Asides from the Emerald forest and Forever Fall, things were largely just inside Beacon and the City.
There's a sense of adventure. Especially helped by Blake's route with these air pirates.
