PLEASE go to Europe for a few months and review all the cars that are not in NA. :D There are so many more like VW Amarok, Audi RS6 Avant, BMW 5 Touring Executive, VW Scirocco, and so on. Also the entire Peugeot lineup!
Missing a key ingredient: a hatchback, so no. Also, four sedan with no back seat space. It would be more honest if it came as a 2 door.

The inline 5 turbo is what put Audi on the performance map. The original Group B Audi Quattros were I5-Turbos as well as the S2 and RS2 from the early 90s. The I5 Turbos in the RS3 and RSTT are a throwback to their performance/rally roots

Glad you brought it up- there's actually a fantastic documentary produced by Audi about their 5 cylinder history I watched just yesterday called "A Legacy Story in Five Cylinders" - well worth the ~20 minutes
They’ve had 5 cylinders since audis were still only 2wd lol. Audis whole thing through the 80’s and 90’s was small sedans with 5 Zylinders
My blue car was best color because they used pigments from Korean nail salons.

Going fast in a straight line isn't rare. The five pot engine is great nonetheless.

I have and it's very good but hardly what you'd call 'unique'.
bongmist exactly, you can get a lightly used camaro ZL1 with a manual that will be faster, sound meaner, and handle just as well.
People get too caught up with numbers and straight line speed without ever taking a look at the bigger picture.
Man, the 5 cylinder sounds like heaven's choir, I wish more cars had it

the exhaust note is so clean and the quatro on the front grill is amazing
I love that the Quattro is not chrome but more like a satin finish. So fucking clean!

Seen a Rs6 a Year ago, and the most stand out part was that Quattro Grille and Front Lip 😊
When I worked at an Audi dealership, the additional airbags were considered a potential hazard to small children sitting in the back. So they became an option for those who mostly had adult passengers.

Wow it looks absolutely stunning in that blue! The performance speaks for itself, but the thing that made me fall in love with this car was the sound that 5 cyl engine makes!😍

I had an A3 for a little while. Even with its base 220hp, its was startlingly quick. Can’t imagine how much fun this would be with nearly double that haha.

This is the best designed sedan in it's class. They're right in pointing out the lines and all. It all works.
This is the best looking sedan for the compact/intermediate class I've seen since e46 Bimmer.
It's not bad, but the Alfa Romeo Giulia is better looking still.

No hatch for America. So I saved $20k and bought a slightly used KIA Forte5 SX. $16k with only 4,000 miles on it.

The seats look truly amazing. They remind me of the head of a cobra. And the rest of the car is awesome as well :D
RS3 is definitely one of the best road cars to drive everyday and have loads of fun in!!!
Great review! You really nailed what makes this car so overall great&special and how much fun it is to drive but you also mentioned what actually annoys me e v e r y time I'm driving mine (e.g. the shift pedals really do feel cheap or the too short exhaust tips...).

I haven’t seen a single RS3 in my life. But I have seen so many BMW M cars. Meaning that the RS3 is so unique and rare.
Doses Of Cars guessing you are American. There is a bunch of them here in Europe, however we don’t get a single Chevrolet ford or mustang besides entry level model which are already insanely expensive looking over here. I do prefer German cars tho, but never really tried old school mustangs either haha
Ton Pac you are going to love old school. Here in America, there are classic car shows with many old corvettes, mustangs, camaros, Dodge challengers and etc. But it is beyond rare seeing an RS3 here
Doses Of Cars I see them in a lot of shows, they look huge and loud hahaha but I love them, I like the mustang and Chevy from 67, amaaazing cars. I go to Argentina often and they have a lot of them wandering the streets, almost all like ruins but sometimes you can see one in a perfect state and they are beautiful tho.

It is blistering fast, handles like a dream and it has 90% of the amenities you get in luxury cars. This car is as fast as most 600hp cars out there!!!! It is a special car. Hey guys! Video was great, keep up the good work! I just wanted to mention that additional airbags as options are pretty common in here, not just for the VW-group cars but also for other manufacturers (I live in Slovakia BTW, but AFAIK this applies to also Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany too...) :D

I got myself an RS3 and it's absolutely amazing, the quattro system with the 5 cylinder just works perfectly

Love the rapport you guys have. You know how to banter back-and-forth while covering a lot of material. Plus, you're actually DRIVING! Makes your reviews so entertaining to watch. Unlike a certain DeMuro. Bonus points for loving wagons, hating piano black trim and knowing the meaning of the word 'knurled'.

The 5 cylinder is Audi trying to recreate a better version of their previous 5 cylinders like the Group B Quattro or the RS2 Avamt

BlackPhoenix1804 it’s called “ara blue” nice colour but “sepang blue” from the pre face lift was nicer and probably the nicest colour ever available on an rs3

@@timbardam5878 I did a muffle delete and replaced the mid pipe with ones that don’t have secondary catalytic converters. It sounds even better than before. No drone.

I think its the hot hatch king even though it is a sedan. I've seen one in the area I live in 2018 Gray and it looks so good. What a cool car but it should come with power seats.
They had one in 2018 grey but we opted for this one instead

You can have power seats, it's just the sport seats that are only manual because of weight

I had the A3 Limousine (Sedan) with full S-Line pack although with a much more modest 2.0 TDI Diesel engine. Loved the shape, the seats and the interior quality and design.

Alex Brownshe great spec & color choice. That's the ultimate stealth saloon right there. I used to say that the Audi S3 & RS3 are for guys who've grown out of the Evo/Impreza phase of their lives but want a luxurious sedan that still kicks ass when you pin the throttle.
Iceberg 47 exactly! I’ve done the Jetta TDI, GTI, Q3, and I needed a rush bad. The dealer could only find all those options with carbon fibre so it has that too!

I love my "old" S60R's 5 cylinder sound! So much growl and throatiness for such a little engine.
