It is tragic. Bud really should have taken himself in hand and reminded himself that a spouse/former spouse is not owned property; he might have benefited from exploring his feelings with a professional who could've taught him how to process all those complex emotions and eventually he would have been able to move on as a healthier man.

I agree she should have tried to stop them from meeting, but she’s entitled to a relationship and for a lot of people starting to date is a part of getting over a past relationship. It was 6 months, not 6 days or 6 hours. It’s also a small town, I don’t think she went in search of someone he knew and according to her they weren’t friends just acquaintances. It was incredibly stupid for them to meet, that’s on them. She should have at least tried to prevent it, that’s on her. The final outcome though is entirely on her Ex. It was his choice and his decision. He could have not met, he could have met and talked, hell, he could have met and thrown a few punches but instead he chose to slam his truck into him ensuring he killed him. That is just savage and unforgivable.
I have been there. Very similar. I couldn't handle thinking of the other guy sleeping with her and being intimate and if she was calling him "babe" like she called me or if she would rub his hands the way she rubbed mine. I was never mad at the guy though. It wasn't his fault. It was mine and hers. I didn't stalk her but wanted to. It took years to get over her. She has since had like 8 boyfriends and got very heavy and now married a guy with a huge underbite and lisp and I dodged a bullet.
Why didn’t she turn her phone off or put it on silent? This husband is clearly unstable and completely guilty but the fact that she kept showing her boyfriend the calls, of course he’s going to step up and try to stop the madness and protect his girlfriend. She absolutely should have turned the phone off and not let her boyfriend confront her abusive drunk husband that night. If they wanted to confront him, she should have made sure they did it at a time when everyone was sober and not in the middle of a drunken rage. She absolutely handled this the wrong way, but it doesn’t give the weird-o husband the right to murder his rival and re-establish his power over her at all, he is guilty as charged but she could have handled things very differently that night.
It seems very high school. Like she was enjoying stirring the pot and having the two of them get riled up over her. I doubt she expected this outcome but it was foolish behavior on her part.
The new BF went to confront the agitated, inflamed and still legal spouse, injecting himself where a discreet honorable man would not. I mean, why not just block his number rather than get the new BF puffed up enough to go confront the ex. Lot of blame to go around.
She starts dating 6 months after she filed for divorce! Why not spend time with you're young children & put them first. You're children are hurting bc of this divorce yet she's out looking for a new beau?! She acts like she's in highschool all bubbly when her childrens father is charged with murder & you're boyfriend is deceased! Now you're childrens father is going to prison! I guess she gets the house & doesn't have to share custody. Wow, how selfish out having a relationship when you're not even legally divorced yet! Everyone knew who you we're sleeping with & you let you're estranged husband find out through gossip! Adding fuel to the fire!! 😢Ontario, 🇨🇦 💔
It’s honestly so weird that people are placing blame on her for what her ex husband did. The entire point of divorce is that she no longer wanted to be caught up in his toxicity and bad decisions 🥴
You can tell from more than just smiling that she’s extremely nervous. She keeps swaying in the chair like a child, she keeps saying “mhum”, she smiles, she’s not as spoken as she should be for a teacher an adult. Everyone reacts & acts differently and clearly this woman is extremely nervous & has every right to be. This is a murder trial. I’d hate to know how I would act. When I’ve been to court it tore me all up. Your heart beats from your chest, you’re afraid you’re being super loud when you’re actually not loud enough. The rooms spills. You sweat. & haven’t even done any wrong just the pressure consumes you. Be less judgmental, please
Wow! I cannot imagine being her or Davis' family. Bud is going to have a long time in a jail cell to think about his stupidity. He should have never arranged to meet Davis anywhere. Real men just bow out. Move on!
Granted I think it’s unlikely to work out based on the emotional state etc. but it doesn’t always end up violently and there’s no reason it should. I’ve dated two women in the midst of their divorces and their ex’s and always remained cordial. In fact one used to sit with us and the kids at church and he came to a party she and I hosted for their eldest daughter’s Quinceañera. I even ran into him and his younger daughter years later at a store and he came up and said hi and we talked for a few. The second had almost no contact with me but the few times he did, he was pleasant, shook my hand and we never had an issue. This guy is clearly a deranged, pathetic child who is incapable of acting like an adult and controlling his temper.
Or a man. I have had several women want to date me while still legally married and I learned my lesson on the first. I still remember the day. 11 pm the night before Thanksgiving day. I drop her at these apartments, she opens the door and out of nowhere HE is inside my car with his arm around my neck chocking me. He has my arms pinned and my seatbelt is on. He had ripped her out of the car and she hit her head and was unconscious. Thank God my buddy was not far behind us. He came out of his truck and ripped the husband off. I then got out and walk around to confront him and hit him and my buddy landed a perfect elbow to his chin and he fell into the bushes. She had told me she was in the process of the divorce and that it would be done in a week. I found out the next day they hadn't even discussed divorce. They ended up getting divorced. 10 years later we actually dated and he was still in the picture because at the time she cheated on him, they had a 2 year old. So yea stay away from married people or people still going thru a divorce or separation. It can be bad news. Had my buddy not been pulling in behind me, I could have been dead from the choking off of oxygen rich blood to my brain. She told me years later he was trying to kill me. That is how angry he was.
All 3 behaved badly. She’s a “Christian counselor” who thought it was a good idea to be dating before her divorce was final. The deceased man clearly was spoiling for a fight as he showed up at the scene with his shirt off. The defendant was spoiling for a fight too or he would not have agreed to meet his rival at that hour. I don’t know if he struck the deceased on purpose, but that night was clearly going to end poorly for them. So sad for the children left behind.
I think the wife is partly to blame. She was taunting her husband with her boyfriend. Having them meet was totally unnecessary and just stirred the pot
I Absolutely agree 100% she is to blame for this incident by answering the calls she instigating it, the husband was in rage he wanted to stop this man seeing his wife & he did.
When you can’t get over an ex like this one will be dead Gotta get over an EX They’re an Ex for a reason and not one that’s we should still be together Just sad overall always is
Because he has been drinking. Not making the smartest choices but doesn’t mean he meant to kill him. Defense hasn’t even put on their case and people have him convicted.
She said they didn’t go out in Greenwood out of respect. Does she understand this whole thing is about her meeting her boyfriends at the bar, sneaking around with another man? (to put that nicely…..) but now you’re gonna use the word respect? LOL
Okay I might change my mind but I think y'all are being way too harsh on her. She is probably smiling to try and keep it together. It's a natural impulse. In terms of the meeting she probably didn't think he would do this. He was a jerk but he had no history of physical violence or even serious threats of it.
Exactly! He wasn't abusive during the marriage. She charted cheating with his best friend. That's a lot of pain to deal with but doesn't deserve death. The guy was drunk. Just wasn't thinking it would kill him
Im so sick of people thinking they own another person. She didn't love him anymore for whatever reason its her choice her body her life she has every right to live it the way she wants too shes not his property!!
I'm so sick of cheaters, can't wait to get divorced first. No self control. Totally irresponsible, and uncaring about your spouse. I know I was guilty of it myself. I see my error.
Really! Why do people want to stay in a relationship where they are not wanted? Or worse, throw away their entire lives bc they see it as "wasting" x amount of years when the other one breaks it off. If u see it as wasted years....why choose to waste the rest of your future too by k/lling?? Just makes no sense and is so sad....for All the victims. 🥺

She’s proud she stepped out of her marriage to cheat. Isn’t it funny the nanny was more upset about the death, but not one tear from this broken down Pam Anderson wanna be. She probably had a string of old men, and just moved on. She’s a pathetic example of a wife, and mother. Her Accountability will come when she stands before God she better change her ways
She's a "professional Christian counselor," yet she played all of these games and didn't call police when she knew that Bud was out driving drunk. They sure went out drinking a lot while having small children. Selfish.
What is she laughing about when someone has lost their life because of her actions, WHY hasn't she been arrested for manslaughter because she instigated this met.

@@MamawJohnsonBkj no if you watch the full case there was no evidence of infidelity. the two didn’t start dating until after she separated. regardless, that isn’t a reason to kill somebody
I hate that someone passed away from this. She needs to grow up and realize she is partially responsible for all of this. She sounds like a dumb college girl on the stand.
“Why do you hate me” says a lot about him. She’s divorcing you. She doesn’t hate you. That’s just trying to guilt and manipulate her into responding “I don’t hate you I will always love you blah “. She’s trying to make a new life and his trying to argue her back into a marriage shows he’s small and controlling
Because he clearly out-kicked his coverage and can’t handle losing her now, knowing she’s probably the best thing that’s ever going to happen to him. 😂 he’s an insecure, petty, pathetic excuse for a man.
He actually did react. He reacted when she said that Bud wanted to talk to Davis. The first time the attorney asked, he shook his head, and the second time when she repeated, yes... He actually said "LIE" He's still guilty AF, lol
I think it was 6-7 months before she met her new partner. Some would say that is a long waiting period. I would say that divorce is way to prevalent in our day. Too much selfishness and immaturity.
Everyone blames him saying he was stalking her yet they weren't even divorced yet! They share 3 young children & he probably wanted to know why isn't she @ home with their children whose life's are forever changed with their pending divorce. She filed for the divorce & maybe he didn't see it coming & wanted to know why & maybe she never sat with him to discuss it. She & they're children are living in the house they once shared while he's living @ his parents. Then he finds out before they're even divorced she's having a relationship with another man? Sorry but I think she was selfish putting her needs first not even her own children! She acts like she's in highschool! She brings her boyfriend to the same party? She played a dangerous game playing damsel in distress. Had she @ least waited until they we're divorced & let things simmer I doubt this would have had such a tragic outcome. How sad for the victim their children & to a certain degree the defendant bc she could have been more mature on how she handled the situation. She loved him enough to have 3 children but out with the old & time to act like a school girl again. 😢Ontario, 🇨🇦 💔

The new BF went to confront the agitated, inflamed and still legal spouse, injecting himself where a discreet honorable man would not. I mean, why not just block his number rather than get the new BF puffed up enough to go confront the ex. Lot of blame to go around.

@@andrewnajarian5994 Yeah…good for you. NEVER date someone who’s going through a divorce. Never. NEVER. Never.
The ex-wife was and is a drama queen.
