I really hope the US Embassy in Manila sees this and recognize how e-sports are celebrated. In the past years, the embassy refused the VISA for AK to fly for EVO. Let's hope this year would be different. Mabuhay Philippines 🇵🇭

@@frozzytango9927 you did not read my comment. The US Embassy declined AK's Visa to get to the states for the EVO tournament in the last 3 years. You need a Visa from the US Embassy in order to go to the US. This is not about the US, but the EMBASSY that's not allowing Filipinos to represent the country in E-sports tournaments.

As a Pakistani and Arslan fan, I think AK rightfully deserved it. I’m glad he had this. Beating two Pakistanis and finally taking it from Arslan Ash is not easy. Arslan can turn the tables last second. I was so convinced that he would bring his magic, but not always. This is why AK’s win is so special. Congratulations to Filipino brothers and AK fans. 🥳

AK been second place in T7 for years. Finally at T8 he is champ!! Representing PH and Shaheen!! Congratz! So bad to see knee getting beat up so bad!! Farzeen is my go to for Victor and finally arslan is still the goat!!
2nd place in LCQ for 2 times, 2nd place in EVO Japan. Finally he got his big win!!

LCQ 2019 was the best LCQ ever and one of the best Tekken tournaments. There were Eyemusician as the most amazing player, Book as the hero and Kagemaru as the best young performance. I really appreciated this tournament.

You can say what you want about T8, but it seems to allow more people to win titles: Chikurin at EVO Japan, Joka at the invitational in Pakistan, Jodd in Africa, and now AK at Combo Breaker. Arslan and Knee might have been the GOATs for T7, but I am glad to see other committed players shine.
Arslan is the absolute T7 goat.

Yes but that's the thing that bothers 'oldskool players' tge most. A complete overhaul of Tekken mechanics was needed for other players to achieve succes. I'm still 50/50 on that part...

I also play Shaheen as my main and I find it a fun, cool character.

Not taking away any credit from AK🎉. But crowd was fully in his support and was chanting to Arsalan (Get some water).. no headphones on. This definitely can make you nervous and add some extra pressure.
I was actually surprised Arslan didn't wear headphones this time around. He usually does. But you're right, the focus and awareness it takes to be able to perform and tune all that out, much respect to anyone who can do it. A normal person definitely couldn't handle the pressure.

unlike lowhigh, AKs actually perfected his shaheen and actually have faith in both his main character and himself, while currently lowhigh trying to be knee 2.0 playing multiple characters and ends up not specializing in any of the characters he plays. i hate it when players i love lose trust in their mains

Well done whoever time stamped every match, there was no way I would watch the 20-30 hours of gameplay to see my favourite players play. Would have probably skipped to the top 8 or 4. Ended up watching hours from the 4 uploads from the weekend because of all those time stamps!

I agree. Shaheen lacks the gimmick thing that most characters have. He's so honest with his movesets, players should rely on his really strong crouch game.

Shaheen df4,1,df (goes to stance) has a lot of forward momentum. Arslan not punishing instantly after step let Shaheen move too far away for backturn punish. AK pressed db, to ws2 and caught the wiff. Pretty cool.

AK vs Farzeen was the match of the century. They made 2 of the most unbearable characters actually fun and hella exciting to watch.

Shaheen was always cool, plenty of complexity in the character he has everything for everyone even people who only want to main characters with difficult execution would love him as Hard combos are really difficult. Victor on the other hand.. unbearable the mighty scrub killer
