I feel bad while taking some of these choices. For an example I know Diona's father should have be more responsible and drink less but I felt TERRIBLE when I chose the option to take the neccecary material from Hilichurls instead of looking at his bag and thus making Diona not know that his father did not forget what she asked and got it for her despite the danger

Fun fact: in one of Diona's voicelines, she mentions that the traveller reminds her of a friend she used to have when she was younger, but disappeared like a dream. This was the spring fairy that Old Man Finch mentions in Springvale. The fairy only befriends children, and when they come of age she makes them forget about her, but the feeling of some memories remains. Before the oceanid's departure, she blessed Diona with the ability to make any drink she makes wonderful. However, this is counter intuitive to her task of destroying the wine industry, making her become the very perpetrator of the industry she tries to sabotage. This is how the tsundere Katzlien bartender is created.

Only difference is that while others like Diona moved on thinking it was a dream, Flinch could not move on, and was adamant she (The spring fairy) existed.

Fun fact: no matter how hard Diona tries as long as the drink is made in her hand it will always taste good. This is because the Springvale fairy(an oceanid in springvale) blessed Diona as a goodbye gift so that anytime she makes a drink it will always taste delicious. She can literally mix the most disgusting things as a smoothie and it will taste delicious.

She does realize it, she just really really believes she can create a bad drink if she tries hard enough
well to clarify upon op's comment, Diona doesn't really remember the spring fairy, she just has sparse lingering memories of the fairy that she believes to just have been a dream. She doesn't actually _know_ that she has been blessed, even if she recognizes her strange ability. She says in the hangout event that it's her "constitution," meaning she thinks that she's just naturally an exceptional bartender. Think of someone good at taking care of plants being told they have a "green thumb," that's basically what Diona thinks. Which is why all her methods of trying to make an awful drink are just to use vile ingredients or mess up the mixing process, instead of a magical method to counteract the blessing.

I have friendship lvl 8 with Diona! Here’s a part of her vision story to make you emo:

I was so sad about that diona is one of my favorite character but she wasn’t voiced by the official voice actor no hate on Jackie tho incredible job
yeah because i think diona’s VA was sick or something along those lines
Her backstory on getting her vision and inability to serve a bad drink is both delightful and a little heartbreaking at the same time, it would seem her imaginary friend thought they were helping her
it's even sadder too, you can see how much of a kid she still is with her silly "master plan" to get people hating alcohol. There are so many ways she could do it without needing to be in the position she's in but she doesn't think about trying other options using her gift/curse.
She should use her gift to make non alcohol drink taste better

She was blessed by a oceanid that lives in the thermal valley for all chalice she hold will be purified of any impurites including poison or anything that makes the drink she holds taste bad, which litteraly makes any cup she hold have the best taste and safety possible with the ingredients that were used, making her goal of making the worst drink that exist impossible.

it wasn't rodhea (the oceanid you fight in the boss battle), it was the one that lives in the lake of thermal valley the one right next to draff, she blessed dionna becouse one night dionna was talking to her about the problems of her family besides the lake, she heard and sypathized with her, but as a oceanid there wasn't much she could do to help, so she decided to at least make everything she may drink safe and delicious, it was before dionna ever tought on making the worst alchoholic drink ever.
I just love how the spirit Diona meets when she’s younger is definitely the reason why any cocktail she makes tastes so good, despite her sabotage attempts, hahaha

@@Corviidei No LOL Being "underaged" refers to your mentality over physicality to prevent bad things in your early years affecting your development. Qiqi is old but she still acts like a child, so she's a child. Traveler doesn't have the same issue and even comments on how everyone assumes they're not old enough

From what I understand of Diona's story, as told in her in-game menu, she has been 'blessed' with the ability to make no bad drinks. When she was little, she befriended the water spirit in springdale we saw during that ocenid quest, and, as thanks for Diona's kindness, said spirit blessed her.

Jackie Lastra(the temporary stand-in for Dina Sherman,Diona's regular VA) did a pretty good job. But i still love Dina's voice for Diona.
I think Diona has the best voice actor-character synchronisation in the game as far as EN voice goes,Mona's is second. I love listening to her voice lines it really shows Diona's feisty tsundere attitude
yeah i really like diona and mona's eng voices. with mona it's like there's a hint of a transatlantic accent or something?? it's really cool. with diona i'm less able to pick out what it is, but the way she says some words is pretty neat
