There were classic comedy shows galore such as Fawlty Towers, Dad's Army etc etc but now it's hard to find a decent comedy show.

@@rjjcms1 On the motorway they are because its layed back driving for them. in towns and cities its a different kettle of fish though as they sometimes just tend to pull out because they get used to people not letting them out, its why I usually let them out if I can because its the safer thing to do.

Truck and van drivers only have their wing mirrors,no rear view,leaving a big blind spot so while taking the utmost care have to rely on other road users seeing them and giving them the space they need to manoevre. It's best to keep a bit of distance from those vehicles,particularly in situations where they need a wider arc than a car would to do a turn.
I saw this as kid in the 80s in the US on the local PBS channel. I thought it was hilarious even though I was too young to understand some of the content. Now I've seen it twice, still funny.

@leftboot83, LGV & HGV are the same. HGV stands for Heavy Goods Vehicle, which a few years ago, the UK had to adopt the European version of LGV which stands for LARGE GOODS VEHICLE
