you can use other backpacks if u slide on the extra build burning backpack. there's also the part that turns the 2 pin to one pin. there's also the denial backpack on the g runner
Does clipping the nub on the neck joint mess up the head’s stability? If I could free up at least some extra articulation then I’m really tempted to do so.
It definitely looks a lot like the Denial. The body and head are pretty much identical minus the clear parts. It even has most of the same stickers on the legs. My sister bought me the Denial, and it's a lot of fun to pose.
The molded gold on this and that SD you reviewed recently seems nicer than what they were using when the revive Hyaku Shiki came out. Maybe that's just because it's being used as accents instead of the whole body though.
I'm pretty sure the problems with the head articulation trace back to Denial Gundam. I'm not sure why its like that but it probably has to do with all of the clear parts Denial came with. I know it has two separate clear parts that connect to its head which are both pretty big. Maybe the limited articulation is for better stability for when these clear parts are attached? Also, can you confirm whether or not this kit comes with enough parts to turn it into a Black and Gold Denial Gundam variant instead?
Good to know, that makes sense! As for making a Denial or Cathedral in black/gold~ you have some leftover parts, but really not enough to do anything more than a couple small variants to the Schwarzritter. Definitely not all the parts required to make the full Denial or Cathedral.
I like the black & yellow of the colorscheme, but you're right that the red & blue is just too much. I'd suggest swapping the red with a darker grey... maybe use red for the eyes instead (+1 menace).

Hmm I wonder if the shoulders not fitting properly is due to mold degradation since it's using the Denial's mold? Apparently it's starting to effect the IBO Gundam Frame HGs.
So just to confirm because I just got this kit from Gundam Planet yesterday. The little nub on the neck can be removed to slightly improve the head articulation without any ill effects to that articulation, correct? It won't become too loose or roll around uncontrollably?
I like it when you take the wings off the back to make the big sword, but not a fan when its holding the sword. Not as cool as the Cathedral, unfortunately.
Totally took my color scheme all the way to blue ob the eyes. Which yes I know is a lot of colors. But I think I do my best to balance the colors more than this kit does. Though I do like this kit. Good review of it.
tough call, both have aspects I like and dislike. Both of them I really want to repaint in different colors. But if I had to choose one, then I'd go with the Transient Glacier.
i thought this kit was base of the ibo series,i would like to see some new characters in the build fighter series who have Gundams based off the ibo series.
I was looking forward to this kit cos I like the look but I might pass on it for now and get Amazing Strike Freedom instead and use a different backpack on it
embodiment of evil yeah, you have the original gold head crest bit without the space to plug the visor, just use that part instead of the one you're meant to according to the manual
I was hyped for this kit. Unfortunately it shares all the problems with the Denial itself... the loose waist, lack of articulation and side skits pop off too often. I also dislike the plastic piece that connects to the shoulder. Wish they used poly apps instead. Still I love the sword it comes with and the design is badass.
I would suggest using usa gundam store becuase they have very well kept model kits and cheaper than regular prices!

Worth mentioning is for once you get multiple sets of hands, AND backs for most of the hands! Bandai doesn't seem to like giving extra hands.

MMM9 right! I forgot that part. But I hate using those cause they set the backpack too far from the MS, it looks weird

nub on the neck ball joint is just for support the weight of clear hair effect parts that hg denial gundam comes with (i guess)

yep, it's fine! Go ahead and lop it off! However, it still really doesn't improve that articulation too much

The sword reminds me of the Blue Frame's Tactical Arms sword, but with less gimmicks.
What colors would you prefer it in?
