Fun fact, Maven didn't have his actual theme in shut your mouth but whoever made this mod made sure to correct that problem. This is sick!

@@nevermindgaming6848 Thq is lazy? THQ? First off, it's Yukes who made the games until WWE 2K20, and THQ/2K only had a bit of input throughout each game's development. Secondly, have you even SEEN what has happened since THQ went Bankrupt and 2K took over? Or how about when 2K dropped Yukes and tried making WWE 2K20 all by themselves?
THQ is responsible for publishing WWF No Mercy and WWE Smackdown Here Comes the Pain. Put some respect on THQ's name.

This mod is amazing! Just seeing Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, Billy Gunn, etc. in the game is fantastic. What would make this mod even better is if they included Jeff's original HCTP model, and Billy Gunn's "Mr. Ass" attire.

Can't speak for the Mr. Ass attire, but like all of the other beta content featured in this game, he does plan to add Jeff's HCTP model once he obtains it. I've been waiting years for that very moment.
@Charrlz MuchiriJeff was released from WWE in April 2003 due to drug usage, refusal to go to rehab, no-showing events, and (according to Jeff) burnout. THQ had no choice but to remove him from the roster, which is sad because Jeff's beta model looked amazing, and this game is one of the best wrestling games ever IMO.
@@BrolyLSSJ01 they should have kept Jeff,hogan,warrior and all of the others in the game idk why they removed Kidman,Holly,regal,Molly holly,Jamal and rosey and others who was appearing on tv at the time because they still would have been enough space to include legends and these wrestlers
If there's anything the 2K20 failure did, was further light up the enthusiasm of old wrasslin' game fans to make these mods. God bless ye, nostalgic SOBs!

If you watch Scott Jay's video on the Definitive Edition mods, you'll realise he's actually been working on these for years, even before the 2K takeover of the series.
He's also said that he worked on these because he feels elements from preview footage, screenshots and builds of each game got unfairly taken out, such as in Here Comes the Pain where Benjamin and Haas has their Team Angle ring gear and tracksuits taken out before release, as well as all the wrestlers from Shut Your Mouth that didn't make it to HCTP like Regal and Hogan.
Yes, I understand the games have gone way downhill since the end of the SVR series, but that isn't the underlying cause of Scott Jay's mod. Just thought I'd correct you on why.

I love watching you guys play HCTP because when this game came out I wasn't even born yet. I was born in 2006 and by the time I could understand how to play video games, the PS2 was gone.
The people that have the "wrong" music, from what I recall from Scott's video, have their other music still in the game so you can go and change it. Austin, and maybe others, have three themes in the game (but that doesn't matter with Austin as he has is best theme by default 😁)
That tag match (Worlds Greatest vs Tajiri and Regal) may be one of the best matches I have ever seen.
This came out the day after I watched Scott's Rebuilding Smackdown video. Perfect timing.

I joked to myself that Jeff Hardy's green hair with twintails served as the inspiration for Hatsune Miku.
All the green wrestlers are those that were either Pulled from the game or released from WWE before the final game came out. That's why Hardy doesn't have a Titantron
There's another HCTP mod that you can play. I think its in the beta stages but most of the wrestlers, attires and arenas have been updated. It's called "HCTP 2.0".
Fun fact Hogan wasn't in this game yet he could be unlocked thru going thru the games code

Scott has noted that he uses many attires from Shut Your Mouth since its the same engine and it's either the only attires available (like for Jeff Hardy, who wasn't in the original HCTP) or they just look better (like The Rock, who, when compared side by side, looks as though he was downgraded during the development of HCTP.)

Well the WWE RAW series got shafted quality wise, and i had an original Xbox so i only had RAW and RAW 2 which i liked at the time but can't see why nowadays
So why are modded models always so shiney? It was the same in the 2K mod you guys did a while back for HCTP.
this is a guess, but i think that it has to do with the different lighting in the games? maybe the way the lighting was set up is different in the games so they reflect off the models differently?

It's a combination of both. They are SYM models and supposedly they use different shaders. Basically they're shiny because modders haven't figured out how to make them the same as HCTP's.
