- I went crazy again! 🤪 The addiction is real...I need an intervention. 😂 Well, most of them are in my Etsy shop, so I don't feel as guilty... It's still bad! 😁

Yes! Thank you! ❤️
Thanks for Sharing! Love, Love, Love old dolls.
Right?! They're so beautiful. 😍
Love them all Tina! Especially the broken china doll head ❤
She is beautiful, she was probably an impressive doll when she was in one piece. 😍
I love these treasures and that is what they are. My sisters, who were older than me each had those little bisque dolls, in the boxes, and they did have lids on them, sometimes they would let me play with them. My oldest sister had the Rosie O’Neil Cupie doll. The old Chinahead doll is so neat is her body and limbs leather? That’s a cute idea about the lights in the dolls head. I really like the boys or young man’s head plate that would make a handsome guy. Those little face dolls were very interesting, they do remind me of Cabbage Patch Kids. Thank you for sharing these really great treasures that you have found, you are a really sweet person and I’m glad I found you, I’ve enjoyed a few memories ❤
Thank you so much! ❤️ Great memories! I love dolls no matter what condition they're in. 😍
What a fantastic haul ! Love when you share your new collections with us❣️thx Tina❤️
You are so welcome! 💕 Thanks for watching! 😍
#2 has lost some of her brains‼️‼️. It never matters to me, they’ve all got their special looks❤️❤️❤️
Brains smains! 😂 She doesn't need them anyways! 🤣💕
I love the old dolls. Loved my dolls growing up. Now it seems a trend that people always automatically say dolls are scary looking. Some are no doubt but I guess because I'm old I'm used to the frozen stare etc. I was showing my niece one of the little hard plastic dolls from the 50's-60's doll that my grandmother crocheted a dress and bonnet for and her only comment was "scary". Kinda hurt my feelings. Lol!
I totally understand! My mon crocheted some amazing doll clothes too. ❤️ She made clothes for my barbies, etc.
Wow ! they're all so beautiful, l'd probably want to keep them all ❤
It's definitely hard to part with them, but keeping them all is not an option. I wouldn't have room to eat, sleep, etc. 😂
Awesome haul Tina! Love the baby with the dimples!🤗
Thank you! 💕
You sure did!!!!!!! That Ideal doll looks like a Frankenstein creation (in the best way) I love the big antique doll ❤❤ I remember those nylon goo goo dollies from the 80s 😂I think my granny made a homemade version. Thanks for sharing ❤
I think so too!💕
Wow! Awesome haul Tina! I love the itty bitty ones! If I wasn’t currently laid off I’d buy them 🇨🇦🤗( even with my sad Canadian dollar, 😂) they would be awesome in my dollhouse ❤
Thanks! I love tiny dolls too. 🥰
❤❤❤ the dolls. Great haul. ESP thumbs up Kewpie!
Yay! Thank you! 💕
“Thumbs up doll” 😂❤x
Weird, right!? 😂
Adorable dolls 🎎🪆
The dolls you’re asking about are composition. Early American made composition dolls had all kinds of unique features that were trial and error. If something could be cheaper or done faster, they would try it and discard what didn’t work. The boots were probably to save on sewing and shoe making. Yes the bisque wedding topper is early 1940S. The Kerr and Heinz dolls had cardboard lids. They were sued by the Nancy Ann Doll Co. in the 1940s for copyright infringement. The Antique German bisque with bonnet is a nice early doll they called stone bisque be a it is solid so heavy like stone. Monkey I think is by Hermann, a Steiff competitor. The black doll head is actually paper mache, the boy shoulder plate is known as American Boy. The goo goo eyed groom was part of a Japan wedding set. The knitted dolls are European souvenir dolls. The Victorian bridal doll head on board is a modern assemblage art piece. The composition dolls can be restored by an experienced restorer. Nylon stocking dolls were popular to make in the 1980s, similar to CPK as you mentioned, the doll head pins probably were an impulse buy for those who couldn’t afford a large full size doll. I love the Carnival Kewpie at the end. I hope this helps.
Wow! You are a wealth of information! Thank you so much! 😘 I really appreciate it!
I love Dolls to you so funny 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Love that monkey! I've never seen a face like his! Great doll haul!🐒❤
Thank you! 💕
Those Goo Goo Kids pins are so cute! They look like they are made of nylons, popular to make faces in 1980's like that. And the carved shrunken apple head dolls. Remember those?
You sure got some nice babies this time! Love the face of the Fums UP doll. And big dimpled doll. Big china head gal you felt sorry for is pretty!
Yes, those little Goo Goo Kids pins are fantastic! They’re so nostalgic!💕
I love the creepy
Me too! 👻
❤❤❤
❤️❤️
Hello BEAUTIFUL! The monkey IS DEFINITELY STEIFF. Im from Germany, had the same puppet as a child, I’m 60 . There is also a matching monkey ,not a puppet. They’re awesome ❤
Thanks for the info! ❤️
@ You are very welcome ❤️
What a wonderful doll haul! You hit the mother load of dolls. Were these from your friend who has tons of dolls? If they are what a great resource! I haven’t seen the Rose O’Neill Kewpie in years.
Yes, she goes to auctions all the time.
Bonjour madame Tina, vous avez fait de bien beau achat, la marionnette singe est cool, cute les petits bébés dans leurs boîtes etc...❤je vous salue et vous souhaite une belle semaine à bientôt. 🥰😺😻📽
Merci beaucoup! ❤️
Tina ✨! This is one area that you & I don't see eye-to-eye on my friend ❤ the dolls give me the creeps! It looks like they were all autopsied! By a mass murderer! But that's why I love you because you see the beauty in everything! Love you 😘❤
😘
They're creepy a d they're kooky, mysterious and ookey...
Mysteriously spooky, the cracked doll family...😂
I have a doll with boots and hands like those. I've never seen another doll with them until this dill you have. She has a different head. The body looks similar. I've never been able to identify her. She has molded hair.
You can send me a pic if you want. They did a lot of trial and error in the USA on the early dolls. Trying to see what worked, what didn't, what was cost effective, what wasn't.
The "kewpie" with the huge eyes is NOT a true Kewpie. It is a much later horrible knockoff.
Thanks for the info. 💕
