I was there when they “flipped” Jamestown. Both FireCamp reception yards. A lot of talk and rumors were being spread in every dorm because everyone had cell phones and everyone had their connections to whoever. So a lot of homies didn’t know wtf to do. The way they “flipped” the yard…the staff walked from dorm to dorm…asked every inmate individually “are you staying or going”. Mind you, everyone who was there was all GP up from reception. Both those yards has something like 48 dorms/cells. So homies that weren’t “staying” were taking off on other GP homies, in front of the cops…and then going to the hole and getting moved. Other homies said fuck that…and waited until an actual PC bus pulled up with actual no good dudes and then got off that way. Which way would you have gone out? Because a lot of homies got questioned and doubted for both decisions.

And remember this if someone has bad manias on pc yard that means that same person mre then likely already had them manias when they were still gp. I know theres dudes on sny yards with some real bad manias, but I know theres also dudes on gp with real bad manias too, sometimes only thing keeping them in line is the rules...Just cause an individual is gp in prison doesnt necessarily make that individual a "good" person or someone that youd want your family for kids around. In the same sense can't label or say everyone that has been or is on a pc is a "bad" person, cause for some people its either go to a pc yard or allow yourself to be killed, some go by choice. A yard doesnt determine or change people from good to bad, you got both on either type of yard..But using an environment like prison to determine whether someone is "good " or "bad" is a pretty disfunctional and twisted perspective . The way I see it is like this, you got bad people that at times may do good things, then you got good people that sometimes may do bad things the tricky part is being able to decern between the two 🫡💯
