August 31st I retired from Railroad (BNSF) formerly The Santa fe. after retiring I had forgotten all about all the pennies I've found over the years , I just tossed them in a drawer of my toll box and forgot all about them until 3 month ago I stop and got a 12 pack of Coors had 3 cents coming back to me I was ready to toss in the bowl. If This bright Red glowing penny caught my eye I kept it. It's a 1962 D flawless, for 3 months I've been staring at this and learning from you and one other. So wanting to send to it in. There are 2 errors nobody has shown me in a book or videos. Now ready for that drawer in my toolbox.

My friend. I have had excellent luck with ANACS on my mint errors and varieties. I know this company is ranked 3rd among collectors but they in my humble opinion are great when it comes down to errors and varieties. They do not get the recognition and press that they truly deserve. They are still a GRADING COMPANY. They I believe are still working for the collectors and not the Corporate Entities. Look at their turnaround times and their prices. Too many hands in the cookie jar. Thanks.
Anacs actually grade’s pretty well. The problem is that they don’t value feedback from their customers and refuse to get rid of those god awful yellow holders or hire someone halfway competent that can photograph the coins. I’ve told them this many times and they could care less. They also have zero presence on any of the social media platforms
I only trust anacs because the top two are scams in my opinion. If I am paying to have a coin graded I expect them to tell me if I have a error or variety and let me decide if I want to pay the extra money to have it attributed.

Oh my goodness! I am so glad I found you! I am having a blast searching through my pocket change etc, but I found the most unusual penny recently. It's a 1951 D, the 1 is nearly sideways. The rest of the penny looks fine... it's brown, but not scuffed up. I will go through your videos and see if this is an error coin. I really like your videos. Thank you.

As I have quite a lot of knowledge on the coins he has and he doesnt know much about them. I have been collecting for about 40 years and I have a lot of old coins and I have been keeping every copper penny I get in charge for the last 15 years. I have Morgan's I have buffalo Nichols and V Nichols also some big penny's I have a Indian head penny that's 1862 and in very good condition.

It depends on how much work you want to put in to get the maximum amount of money for your coins. You can bring them to a dealer or auction house yes but they’re going to take their cut so to speak. Or you can put in the leg work and sell them individually to fellow collectors without any fees on either Instagram, Facebook, local coin club or show ect ect

I inherited a collection and I am overwhelmed with this, unbelievable to the amount of info that's out there, what to believe and what not to believe....what gets graded, what doesn't and on and on.....not my thing but I have many to go thru
Really important who you sell to. Now Daniel here would be a safe bet that you will not get cheated. He will, of course, offer you less than what he will sell them for. Some people cannot understand this. If you have graded coins then ebay is ok. If your coins are raw,and you do not know how to grade, then ebay will be more difficult. Do NOT take any coins into a Pawn shop.What you see on Pawn Stars is much scripted. If you take a valuable coin into a pawn, the owner will not,call an expert in. Lol. He will try to buy it for almost nothing. Educate yourself as much as possible. If you inherit a collection consider becoming a new collector.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience collecting coins. As a novice it is confusing, and I don't feel comfortable putting a valuable gold coin in the mail to be graded. However who do you then approach to get it sold . I live in Brisbane Queensland Australia state. I am struggling to find any coin sales group here I think that's where the new coin collection person like me get. We have so many of the big coins from 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000 . Many of us have those big coin groups like 1981, 2006, 1978, 2005, 1972, 2012, 2010, 2004, 2000, 1977, 1967, 1998. We have a those big coin numbers already been stored away for years in great shape. They come up on Utube.We see yes look . Yes I that coin already. However getting to a buyer, a dealer, a collection business seems hard to find at least in Brisbane .
I saw on tv that they had a 1965 quarter. without a D or P. on it.I looked with a magnifier and did see any thing on it. what or where can I take it to? I live in Mint ours hills Pa.

Been using anacs to grade some of our more pricey coins before selling on eBay. Very happy with anacs.
Rather have ngc or pcgs graded coins
