It pisses me off when disabled people get treated especially at my job they treat bad I always tell them if anyone does anything to you come tell me I'll do something about it
I want to commend how the principal was written here. He had ethics.
I'm pretty sure if she put a soda bottle in the judge's hole...and told him he was having the time of his life things would be different 😬
where to watch the entire episode?
Am I the only one who giggles in awkwardness whenever they call the poor girl retarded? Man how times have changed! And I myself am neurodivergent, so it's really uncomfortable at times.
What lesson is this supposed to teach? Why did it end in sending a message saying “What they did was totally okay!”
It doesn't really say that. That's what the judge said and how the main cast (the people who actually see this as what it was) reacted was that the system had failed because the three boys weren't punished for it
The purpose of the show was to be realistic so they had occasional unsatisfying endings because those happen in real life.
This is based on a real story ut the guys used a bat instead
What happens at the end
9:58 she was too gullible. sad
And when it happens again again what happen
This was a long lifetime movie
That judge was disgusting. I wish I hadn’t watched it.
This is based on the Outrage in Glen Ridge. Honestly guys who do this deserve castration.
Why have a jury if you aren’t going to take their verdict?
Aonde eu encontro esse episódio??
Watching this in 2023 cringing at the way they talk about her. Using the r word..
The SVU episode about the disabled delivery driver who raped an elderly woman was extremely cringe in how they discussed him as well, it was from the year 2000 so they're retardin' all over the place.
yeah when i heard the r word I was like woah! They did not use it so casually, this episode came out in '98 so no surprise there.
Ya thats harsh
What R word?
that was the actual correct PC term to use at the time though. it's only frowned upon now because it started to be used to slander people more afterwards. the inappropriate term to use in the 90's would have been to refer to her as something like "idiot" instead. i'm sure in the year 2050, when people watch our TV shows now they will cringe when they hear people describe them as "mentally impaired" because we'll have to move onto another euphemism after that one gets used to slander people as well as it does now. you have to understand linguistics change over time.
Somebody call Rafael Barba
For the longest time I hated how preachy and "educational" SVU had become in the modern day but after watching old L&O clips like this I'm grateful for it, LMAO.
@@ToruKun1 exactly and I side eye anyone who calls svu "too woke" for a reason
If he said that in real life he'd be disbarred or a least bit on limited duties that judge is disgusting.
So all that for him to void their judgment for his shitty opinion
I hate how real that is
i always thought that was torch from girl interrupted but it wasn't
Gosh I wish they would upload Law & Order Dissonance clips.
This clip hasn't aged well...
It actually has
Hopefully the bad person will add a murder charge to prove he’s NOT remorseful.🙂😊🙂😊
The judge's decision and comment were certainly strange.
