French Passé Simple

The passé simple is complicated and not very useful as we prefer to use the passé composé instead, however some forms are still useful and common, for example the verb to be être and the verb to have avoir get their passé simple used and not only on old books. That's why, in this lesson, we are going to see these forms and only the ones we really use. Of course, you can still use the passé composé instead, but because you will certainly read or hear them, it is better to learn them now. Enjoy the lesson.
