The idea for the video was the Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio. The mimic the steps and ideas in it. The director has a few hilarious shots of her kneeling in front of jk she looooved him 😂

Love your reaction & JK was also my bias . I’m a 69nyrs old whole fell on the rabbit hole after hearing l “ life goes on” & become curious on who are they are & the rest is history. Even went to watch them perform in Vegas & me &my friend who are in their mid 70’s have a blast & last April decided to visit Korea to learn life & culture. Planning to visit K ores again next year once they are out of military. Hoping to go to their concert where ever we can get a ticket. And yes JK is a fine,humble,respectful , downtown to earth young men. All the members always appreciate the fans & they are aware on who put them on the pedestal💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

It wasn’t the new years because he had already enlisted in the military. I think you are thinking about the Time Square performance. When BTS and its members solo projects are concerned they always have diverse groups participating in the mvs. Btw, all of the dancers in the mv are well known choreographers that Jungkook asked to be in the mv. When I started listening to BTS, JK was my bias too, but I started having bias wreckers, so I was like, “ You know what? Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. JK did not perform for New Years. JHope did. JK did perform in NY though in Times Square. My moot went and saw him live. She went at 3am but the show started at like 5:30pm. Wince. Love the makeup and fits. The vest look, damn. So hot. The backup dancers slayed. JK was totally channeling MJ. Agree. Catchy song. The acting shoot. The reversed fight scene confused me, lol. Loved the wings too.Got lots of BTS references. Loved that. He had 6 backup dancers with him. It's like the members are with him supporting him. Love the album. He had some famous choreographers as back up dancers. 0.0 Like Nick Joseph and Ian Eastwood who did choreo for Taemin in the past. Brian P. is his fav dancer. Just wild. Also so impressed. The lady is a Ukranian model i hear. Jk's vocals actually slay every genre. Besides all the homages to MJ armys on Twitter have connected the dots and found a LOT of direct references to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet movie - the wings, the stage is almost identical, Jk sign in the heart, rival families setting w the girl and the fight etc
Also ,there was some confusion about the actress , it's not the one who played Diana in The Crown, armys got too excited 😂

Hi! To confirm your thoughts: the video is an homage to Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, confirmed by the video director on her Instagram. So many callbacks and tributes. The fight scene happens in the film, too. It's the warring families of the two lovers. It makes sense from the "We aren't allowed to be together but f**k that I will die for you" perspective of the lyrics. Borahae from Portugal.

The main character's wings (Jungkook in the music video, Juliet's wings in Romeo and Juliet) 3. Same heart shape 4. Fighting between people from both families There are many similarities to Romeo and Juliet, including scenes. The meaning of the song's lyrics also means an eternal love that will be with you no matter what.

"Seven" songwriters Andrew Watt, John Bellion and Cirkut strike again with this incredible song. Other credited songwriters are Henry Walter and Ali Tamposi. Also, like "Seven", it was produced by Watt and Cirkut. JK said Andrew Watt did a great job of directing him with his vocals. 💜

Filmed at an old out-of-use power plant and also at a speedway (for racing cars) in Budapest Hungary. The woman is a Ukrainian model. They built the whole set that looks like a stage inside the power plant. MV director said the MV is based on Baz Luhrmann’s movie Romeo & Juliet (the one with Claire Danes/Leo DiCaprio). Same music producers as Seven- Andrew Watt/ Circuit and Andrew Watt is one of the writers. All English album of songs based on love ( good and bad sides)- for the international audience. JK is aiming to be a “big global pop star” 💜

After JK recorded "Seven", Andrew Watt offered to show him other songs he'd been working on and JK liked this one. He said he would practice it so he would be ready to record the next day. He recorded the whole song in four hours. --Suchwita, ep. 21.

I'm sure someone will make a comment that's more detailed and informative than mine, but I just have to shout out the dancers for a sec... JK isn't kidding when he praises them. That's a handful of world-class choreographers there, and JK's got them being his backup dancers, lol. Apparently, he reached out and asked them personally. Persuasive power of the golden maknae!
One of the dancers in particular-the Filipino guy with the shaved sides (blonde in the Usher vid), the one who is usually right next to JK and being all playful with him-is Brian Puspos. He was Jimin and JK's favorite choreographer back when they were much younger and significantly less famous... and those two would practice Brian's choreographies in their free time (there's some cool old recordings).
Big Hit commissioned Brian's choreography for one of BTS' earlier songs, "Butterfly." Several years later, he also did the choreography for Jimin's solo song, Serendipity. Both absolutely gorgeous! But apparently, the way kpop does choreo commissions is all remote, so none of them ever met in person (in fact, Brian explained in a later interview that he had no idea what group he was even working with, for Butterfly... it was all arranged through the company.
But yeah, JK personally sought out Brian. And JK, who is now the waaaay more famous of the two, was still star struck to meet him. It was super cute. They became fast friends, though. They had some hilarious social media interactions during the Golden promotions era.
