In this video, we’re going to talk about what to do if you had your ovaries removed.
30% of women have their ovaries removed.
The symptoms of ovariectomy can be:
    • Significant loss of bone in your spine
    • Vaginal dryness
    • Depression
    • Low libido
    • Hot flashes
There are 5 things you can do to promote a healthy body if you had your ovaries removed:
    1. Pomegranate seeds/oil - Pomegranate contains many phytonutrients that mimic estrogen.
    2. Flaxseed oil - Flaxseed oil can be used as a natural version of HRT.
    3. Tribulus - This is a natural compound that can increase FSH, which supports the adrenal and pituitary hormones.
    4. Wild yams - This can help reduce the symptoms of estrogen withdrawal.
    5. Ovatrophin PMG - This is a product from a company called Standard Process. It is a glandular extract that can really help those who don’t have ovaries.
Give these tips a try and let me know how they work for you.

Are you taking estrogen? I had hysterectomy at 24 yrs old. I had one ovary left. I was good for over 10 years then I wasn't. I did bioidentical creams for years and did well. Then started having thyroid issues. My only ovary atrophied (died, dissolved) and around 45 years old i was in bad shape. I did all these natural things, took supplements etc. I just got worse. I finally went on premarin and it is helping. I think what you put in your body is important as well as stress management, real good sleep and light exercise. But at the end day, nothing helped without premarin (estrogen). Listen to your body, it knows the answers.
Also, without estrogen you will have bone loss, prematurely age such as wrinkles, grey hair, growing facial hair etc. Since, I have been on estrogen it has slowed down and gotten better.

I do not like drs anymore but I have to go to one to be able to get insulin.

And how do you stop fibroids, endometriosis and cysts? Ongoing surgeries and drugs with other side effects? To be frank, there really is no solution without its own side effects and possible later-in- life complications. Women need to make sure they are making informed choices... and docs should be obligated to give them ALL info...not just steer them in a direction.

Well, I was getting anemic and had tried various things including acupuncture. Best thing I ever did and yes, ovaries were also removed. Been taking a very small amount of compunded hormones and also do resistance training. Nothing heavy but do work out daily. Hi I had mine removed in 2012 due to my breast cancer being estrogen positive. I was 35 yrs old and didn’t have any major side effects. The only thing I remember is random hot flashes for the first 2 years. Fast forward now to 2023, I’m producing too much cortisol, always stressed out and have anxiety. I take anxiety Med and somewhat relieves it. I had dexa scan in 2020 and told I have osteopenia. Now I’m m dealing with 280 cholesterol levels as well as exercise and heat intolerant. I asked several doctors if this is related to my ovary removal and same answer I get is a no. I will definitely keep watching Dr Berg. I have been looking into progesterone treatment as I can’t do estrogen treatment per my oncologist. If I could go back in time I would have declined oopherectomy. I was BRCA 1 & 2 negative but back then I was told after a second opinion that I would have longer longevity. Cancer is scary but I wish I would’ve said no. Thank God I found Dr Berg he gives me hope.

Having PCOS caused me lots of jobs lots of missed school growing up lots of opportunities. On top of anxiety and depression. Looking back and knowing what I know now about Keto and insulin resistance it was the doctors causing my pain lol. Every time I went infor a concern having to do with the PCOS there was a prescription written! Then in my thirties the resolution was to write me a script for glucophage XR AKA metformin. They put me on extended release formula 3/ 500 mg pills /day. 1500 mg a day for many years! Then they asked me what I was doing that was killing my liver LOL. I wish I knew then what I know now. Anybody reading this who has PCOS stop listening to your doctors stop taking all that medicine and do healthy keto and intermittent fasting and exercise at least 3 days To 5 days out of your week. Even if it's walking get up and do it. Otherwise if you're going to do what they say don't complain about your outcome. They're going to prescribe you something every time and they're going to blame everything on the PCOS really it's the insulin resistance you need to get rid of it. Mine just removed March 17, 2023. That time i did not have idea. I was feeling sick, depressed, mentally block. I did not search about ovary, i trust my doctor but unfortunately my left side ovary had a problem too which 2.5cm tumor.
And my right was 8cm. One week before my schedule for surgery my doctor told me only right side remove and my left side just keep for hormones.
When i was in hospital there was second follow up check they found my left side ovary had 2.5m tumor. I did not know what was the name of tumor.
During the day of surgery the doctor came to me and said, your left ovary has 2.5cm. I was suddenly depressed. One thing i remembered she said better you remove the left ovary because you are getting menopause.
And i thought removal of both ovaries were the best solution of my problem. Anyway the tumor was benign. After the removal and i was home i was started searching the main purpose of ovary. When i knew it i really depressed and get angry to my doctor why she was suggested me remove my left ovary. For sure if other doctor handled me the doctor did not want to recomend for removal on my left ovary.
Since when i was 40 years old i started knew that i had problem of my ovary my doctor in other hospital did not advice me to remove ovaries. I went 2 hospitals before this surgery happened. But they did not me recommend surgery or removal.
And now almost 2 months staying at home and i search in RUclips etc. The 2.5cm it is not necessarily remove.
My right side ovary it's okay to remove because the size was 8cm.
On my left side the 2.5cm.
    It's not necessarily removed.
I trust her, i thought she cared me or love the patient.
Anyway i from Philippines and i am now living in Korea.
The surgery happened here in Korea.
I thought she thinks i am a foreigner.
That was why she did not cared me.
    In short lack of explanation.
She did not talk to me the advantages and disavantages.
I am still now depressed if i recall the hour before my schedule of surgery and why she suggested me to removed my left ovary.
My next check up this coming March 26 i talk to something to her why she suggested me to remove my left ovary.
And i will talk also to my cardiologist doctor about my right ovary.
You know i am still cry.
    And i ask her advice.
My knowledge is little, i am not studying anatomy.
That was why i don't have idea.
The tumor was benign. 2.5cm only on my left side.

However I have NO idea, what exactly these opiates are doing to my body or HOW they are effecting it, exactly. I have short term memory loss, increased urination, constipation, water retention, dry skin, hormonal imbalances, and other symptoms from these meds but I have no idea WHY. I have asked my doctors and they just say its side effects and offer no explanation.
Online research has granted nothing but links to recovery from opiate use for street use, which is absolutely not the case here. However being on them so long, I am addicted, medically.
I am also concerned about done loss and mineral loss as well. Please help. I need to know how these are affecting my body, and therefore what to do to treat that and reverse the damage. Thank you again.

So my blood test was like this for a long time.. well I started drinking raw milk from my cow that I was milking and now my hormones are normal. So not sure if it’s from the raw milk or not. Just seems like it could be.

How are you now? I had one ovary removed and have the pain you mentioned, turns out I have mild pelvic congestion syndrome. I paid £150 for a uterine scan and diagnosis, I don't know if the removal caused this or not. Apart from that I've had no other problems, I'm 45.

I have been trying to eat as well as I can and exercise so my body works better, hopefully. I think/hope that pelvic pain you have might go away since mine did. Just try to eat healthy so your body will heal properly. I took pretty much a whole year!
