A magic space. Well, no, but a place that was very well deigned, perhaps with magical influences. And if you ARE a magician - there's top hat headroom and lots of places to "hide" your bunnies. Nice result Dethleffs - cost effective as well. Thanks for the tour Nick.

The advent of the drop down bed systems really is genius in these motorhomes… continually converting a dinette really is an annoying chore 👍

@FLGurl there are lots in the UK. Its becoming very popular and across the different companies the selection of vehicles is huge. I've done it several times as (a) can't afford a motorhome and (b) I don't think I'd use one anywhere near enough to warrant it, maybe when I retire it might be different. In the meantime we get to hire new or almost new vehicles for a decent price

Think thats the best layout ive seen on a less than 3.5 tonne. Only thing id change is to remove the curtains.

I know these vehicles are short of space but they always seem forget adding hanging / drawer space for clothes. Where are 4 people supposed to stow their clothes for a week or two trip?
I went to the Outer Hebrides for nearly 3 weeks. As well as the clothes that I was wearing, I took a kagool, a jumper, spare shorts, a pair of trousers, 7 pairs each of pants & socks plus 7 T-shirts, 2 pairs of PJ shorts and a pair of sandals. It all fits in a Lidl bag for life to take it to the camper.
Chuck in a few washing machine tablets and stay at a campsite after about a week to wash your clothes and away you go again. Admittedly, women are not so willing to pack light but they can cut back a bit.

Comparing this to the £252k one you showed the other week and it just makes me think even more how bonkers that was. Yes, its a little longer than this one and had air con and a bit of a higher spec finished but to be 2.6 x the price of this just doesnt compute

@@peterdodge6563All of the screen in Dethleffs have bug screens as well. Blinds slide down, bug screens up from the lower part of the window.

Not keen on vans where the main door opens the wrong side for U.K. roads. I fail to understand why, when so much design and though goes into such an expensive product the manufacturer can’t get this basic point correct.

So explain: Why the ladder in the storage that fits into a draw from the bedroom?
if you pull out the extension to convert into large bed it covers the built in step and its a bit of a stretch to climb in. the ladder is for that and the electric bed at the front
You don’t get a lot for 100k these days, this would have been 70k three years ago with that spec.
