Do you like collages? tell in the comments your tips for collage in your art journals?
So raw and organic! Love your style ❤
Thank you Brooke. I appreciate it. 🧡🧡
So soooooo beautiful. LOVE everything collage/paint/scribble. Now that summer's here I hope to do more eco printing. Tip? Crumple up torn papers and dip randomly in runny paint before attaching with gel medium.
Thank you Nancy. So great you enjoyed. Thanks for your awesome tip. 😉😉
Thank you for sharing your journals. I love the idea of 'junk journals' but I haven't found a style that appeals to me - I'm not big on the really ornate ones even though they are beautiful to look at.
However, seeing your journals and how you combine painting, collage, scraps of fabric and paper without, to my eyes, overworking the page, I'm inspired to continue working in my Fragments journal. Seeing what can be frees me to go my own way, and do what I want, rather than trying to copy another style.
It is not possible to copy your pages, they belong to you, your vision, and your world. But you have given me the key to explore my world, in my way - you show me the structure I can use and encourage me to run free. Thank you!
Hi Jakki, thank you so much for the kind words. You cannot imagine how I feel so happy to read your comment and know that I'm inspiring you to follow your inner creativity, be free and explore what comes from the inside. In the beginning, it feels we are just making random things, with no meaning or sense. But continue. Keep enjoying the process rather than the final piece. You will have so much joy and find your own way to express yourself. Keep going and thank you for being here with me. 💛💛💛💛
@@FranciscaNunes I love the journey with you, so I'll be there for a long while! ❤

Hey Megan, so happy to hear you are playing in your fragments journal. It isn't a freeing place to play? I love it and I feel so free to make a mess and explore collage, marks, and add elements I have around. Thank you so much for being here. I appreciate it.
Beautiful journals & artwork! I love to add collage as a base layer or even in the top layers.
Thank you, Kelley. Yes, collage is awesome as a background or as a embellishment top layer. I also love it. 😚😚Great. 🧡🧡
