I've had tinnitus for over six months now and I must say that your videos are a real place of hope and understanding for me. I have been in fight and flight since childhood and continue to do much healing work. Just the possibility of connections between the two keep me hopeful. In the mean time I am having quite a bit of success relaxing into the tinnitus. You are giving a great service. Thanks.

Since 2002 I have led a pretty much tinnitus-free life. It comes back a tiny bit when I get a bad cold, eat too much salt, or if I listen to a loud show or concert but then it goes away again fairly quickly.

    Good sound advise.
    Generous words of wisdom.
Life can be challenging.but overstrifing and wanting to let go need to be separated.
Remember to start by appreciating and being aware of how safe we truely are.
Trust your feelings and stay calm.
Thank you Julian we are all grateful to be on this journey with your guidance.

    Dear Julian,
I am amazed about your work.
I got tinnitus 2 months ago, I started yoga but I do weight lifting, what do you think about that kind of sport regarding to tinnitus? should I stop until I get rid of this?

    • @JulianCowanHill

      Szia András, hogy vagy?
Let your tinnitus tell you. If you can do it with no reaction then you are fine. If your tinnitus gets worse with weight lifting then maybe back off a bit. In any case, if you bring your overall reactivity down then your tinnitus will get better and you won't be effected. I recommend finding a craniosacral therapist to help your system release and let go. Best wishes Julian PS send my love to Bp! I used to live there.

Julian I had to say thank you for all your videos. My tinnutis has been raging for about 5 weeks. So much stress, marriage falling apart over a long period. Emotional abuse within that relationship. My son suicidal and addicted to drugs. Not seeing my grand babies because of his addiction has been heartbreaking. Then boom deafening tinnutis 24/7 and the insomnia etc. I'm getting acupuncture twice a week and reflexology but then get home and the Tigers as you put it are still alive and well at home. What do you suggest? I'm going to try and start Skype sessions with you. I'm in New Zealand and really at my wits end even though I try to relax... I really just eventually pass out and sleep then wake up to it all over again . Not in a good place.

    Dear Julian,
i started to push down my adrenal level, I hear less tinnitus however I am tired all day, this all will go away if I carry on? is this stage normal ?
    many thanks.

      @JulianCowanHill  8 лет назад +8

Yes. Once we start to de-stress and especially when we start feeling safer, it is common to hit a wall of tiredness. Think of this as going into recharging mode. Best to go with it, sleep as much as your body needs and keep going with the cranial work. At some stage you may stop running on adrenal energy and convert back to constitutional normal energy which feels very different.

I've had tinnitus for the past 6 years and I don't realistically think that it's continually going to improve. My attitude to it does, but that comes and goes.

Do u think its normal? doing this thing too fast maybe?

Well I'm a builder and I wear ear defenders, so its simply not possible for me to avoid physical activity or noise, so how on earth am I meant to change that?
