@@iusemyrealnamebefore Yeah World at War is a great example for a brutal war game, but I think it could go even more edgier.. realistic sounds (weapons, mortars, war vehicles , sounds of pain and screaming etc..) , more realistic killings , massacres , realistic people behaviour , politics .. Best example for this kind of immersive gameplay is "Bodycam".. a war game with the same brutality as Bodycam would be controversial, but who cares? War needs more education and a hardcore War game in the 2020s era would be great.

Then the scene from 1:22 to 1:24 was filmed in 1999 where we can see an Albanian KLA fighter surrendering to Italian soldiers.

My pops was a leader of a special unit of ARBIH named "Night Birds" they basically did covert operations, sabotage, reconnaissance. He dosent talk about it often but from what i get when he talks about it is that that was hell. Friends dying, finding dead civilians, sleeping outside in the freezing cold for nights at a time. I am happy that a lot of people actually understood this video. I was afraid to read some bunch of people saying "this is glorifying war!", but to my surprise they think the same as me. This is everything but not glorification, instead it's visceral and dark reminder and collection of the atrocity this war was.

The scene at 0:30 is NATO bombing of a bridge in Novi Sad, Serbia in 1999.
Scene from 1:15 to 1:16 was filmed in 1991 during the Battle of Vukovar in Croatia.
Then the scene from 1:22 to 1:24 was filmed in 1999 where we can see an Albanian KLA fighter surrendering to Italian soldiers.

My pops was a leader of a special unit of ARBIH named "Night Birds" they basically did covert operations, sabotage, reconnaissance. He dosent talk about it often but from what i get when he talks about it is that that was hell. Friends dying, finding dead civilians, sleeping outside in the freezing cold for nights at a time. May God not let anything like it happen again.

Served briefly in CAF, of course years after the Balkan War. Was told by may trainers that they had never seen savagery such as what they saw in former Yugoslavia in their lives. Not even in Afghanistan.

They opened the pandoras box, and lost Kosovo the same way they tried to create pseudo-republics around their neighborhood. The serb vindictive ultra-nationalism was the biggest reason why Yugoslavia collapsed in the first place

Around 100 Greeks participated in the war in favor of the Serbs. The Greek Orthodox church also spoke positively about the things the Serbs did.

The thing you said was completely wrong. Russia suffered during communism (Stalinism and Leninism), while Yugoslavia suffered when communism fell, and nationalism rised.
