Not me crying along with you in the end especially when you spoke about rest 🥺 I’m entering the last year of my PhD as a physicist (medical physicist) to be exact. All of my degrees are in physics. All of this is exhausting and as you said there are many obstacles along the way. Congratulations!!!🩷🩷🩷
Thank you so much for watching. I’m so proud of you and congratulations in advance. When I made the documentary, I didn’t know if anyone would resonate with it because I think we are just trying to survive. I wish you so much rest and success in your field.
9:14 I WAS LITERALLLY SMILING EAR TO EAR, idk what happens next but I really wish the best for you, your ambition and tenacity speak volumes, it inspires me to push through as well.
Live your life, girl! You deserve it. Congratulations on your accomplishment! From one Black woman in STEM to another, your journey is not in vain. You are inspiring many.
This was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Congrats, and well done! May God bless your future endeavors. Thank you for being an example for the Black girls/women in STEM.
I loved this video and congrats and as someone who is in semester 3/4 of nursing I understand about not going back to school and just reaping and resting after graduation. It's so important and I've been in school since 2019 for my A.A now getting my ASN in nursing and I'm so tired but I have to keep going but when I'm done I cant wait to live my life again for me and my kids :)
Congratulations on your degree and your future endeavors! Please remember that everyone is not going to make it to the summit with you. I pray that you get overwhelming opportunities baby girl! 🎉🎉
Congratulations!!! 🎉 🎊🍾 I’m so proud of you! Just started in my grad program and I already notice the shift in energies, but I also see the few true supporters. Go live your life girl! 💕
God knew I needed to see this. Currently in a situation similar to this. However mine is involving me taking a gap year and working towards grad school as a pre-med. Thanks for sharing your story and motivating me to keep going.❤
I needed to see this. I’m about to start graduate school in the fall so I’m trying to have fun as much as I can before I start. The part when you were journaling hit hard for me. Feeling those things currently. I’m kinda scared for this journey but I will be ok 🙌🏾
Thank you so much for watching. It means the world to me. Enjoy the time with friends. However, create self care routines. You will be fine in your program. It is what you make it and how you choose to maneuver the program. Come back and let me know how it goes💕
Your testimony is so beautiful🥹 I admire your honesty and transparency. I plan on heading to grad school soon, but your video made me realize that I need to make sure I'm called to it, not doing it for my ego.
Thank you so much for watching. I love the synopsis. Being called to it is what kept me going in the moments when I wanted to quit. So make sure that you understand your why because you will need it to self motivate
"as things might seem like they are falling apart they are simply falling into place"- thank you for sharing happy reaping and resting mama💕
Thank you so much. You dont know how much I needed to see that quote
