I am black and I am also old. I try not to think about the negative side of life at my age and focus on the positives. Sports used to be a haven away from the race issues that have plagued this country. I think Steven A. has increased the negative side that I have not chosen to focus on at my time in life. He looks backwards instead of looking forward. He also sees life as half empty when espousing his thoughts on race. He also has a widely viewed platform which he chooses to spew his negativity and divisiveness.

Caitlin Clark is in a similar position as MJ was when he came into the league. MJ was selling out arenas by himself, because the Bulls sucked, but he was a must watch event. Whether its true or not the narrative was out there to freeze him out of the all star game. ( Where there's smoke....). He was getting endorsements out the ying yang. But at the end of the day it benefitted the long term economy of the players and the league. Also they had the best commissioner in sports.
