Dude I keep forgetting other places don't have the same tradition as we do here in Brazil. I left the maternity ward with earrings. I have had my ears pierced since I was less than a week old. Recently I got a helix piercing too, tho. That one was a little... different.

I personally use a cheap glossy screen protector which doesn't wear down the apple pencil nib like the matte ones. Although it takes a while to get used to because it's more slippery, I've found that less friction actually helps with wrist pain :) If you don't use your iPad to draw, it should be fine.

Honestly, I would take off the screen protector. I’ve never used one but in my opinion, you get used to the glass screen and it’s really not as bad as people say it is. I use the glass creek both to do school and art. Plus, it doesn’t wear down the nib and you can always buy one if it doesn’t suit you or if you just prefer to have it with the paperlike screen (I’m assuming your using that type and not the glass one because i’m pretty sure the glass one doesn’t wear down the tip).
ahhh my piercings closed twice and watching this makes me wanna pierce them again… idk if it is safe tho oops

I suggest you to get a paper like screen protector for your iPad. It would be much more better and comfortable for you. And it won't harm your Apple pencil that much.
