Awesome job and video! My father told me, " If you're going to own a vehicle, you need to know how to work on it!" I learned a lot. Thank you and your Dad for sharing 😊 🙏
C clamp and old brake pad is definitely still the way to go. You don't have to worry about messaging up the piston (some are ceramic nowadays) or the seal because you can take your time squishing them back in.😁
For power tools I've switched from 20v Dewalt to Makita for our construction trailer, it's been about 2 seasons now with no failures. I've got Milwaukee in the shop but as they wear out they're going to get switched too.
I bought a bag of rubber bands at Staples and use them. #63 is the size. Amazon has them too. 3" x 1/4" measurement. They last for years in the bag and months out of the bag.
8:41 That's the way my dad did it for 50 years. My Master Force reciprocating saw would have batteries pop off. Finally just went and bought another one.
I got my little John Deere 670 diesel running . But the John Deere build y'all are thinking about will still be cool and show me what I should have done
LOL, so does Merlin magically show up every time you bring a Volkswagen buggy into the shop or was it just coincidence? That box of 22's on the dash brought back a lot of memories of takin care of business with my Dad on the farm when I was a kid, hope you were just doing some target practice though!
Try the Bauer Brand from Harbor Freight. I swapped out all my Milwaukee stuff for them a few years back. Pretty near half the price and actually work better. LOve the channel, thanks for sharing.
I always change the calipers and rotors they’re not that expensive I just changed all four of mine on my 06 chevy 2500 Stainless steel brake lines all around new fuel pump and lines
The seized brake sliders, I like to find a drill bit that fits to clean the rust out as well as the bolt. The c clamps work great, cheaper than buying the new tools just for that
Battery captures on all cordless tools have issues. If you never use them, they'll never break, so just be sure to write off the replacement costs 👽🗿👽🗿👽
It comes down to usage and the variety of tools. I just use the same brand to have batteries and wear out more certain tools and others kick around for years because they don't get used as often. I always just figure that the more expensive a tool is, the more likely it is to be stolen and the more it will cost to replace (I have to transport all of stuff) 👽🗿👽
My Milwaukee batteries get jammed and I have to smash them against something to free them up. If I didn't have so much money in them I would buy something else! Maybe buying some one use junk is not so silly after all.
GREAT VIDEO.....HOW EVER I WAS ON EDGE DUREING THE FIRST PART.. LOVE SEEING YOUR BEAUTIFOL KIDS..BUT PLEASE TEACH THE TO PLAY IN ENPTY BAY NOT UNDER THE CARS YOUR WORKING ON.. JUST A CONSEREN..LOVE YOU GUYS BR SAFE

I think you put the rotors on the wrong sides of the truck. The grooves on the rotor disc should have the outer end of the groove being the first part that comes in contact with the pads.
Now this was a great video of Dad, Shawn, Merlin and guys doing projects around the shop and the boys riding bicycles around the shop. Sean went to the field changed some irrigation water and loaded some hay. Good times and memories!
And it’s always fun seeing Merlin! Thanks for the video.
Big pair of blue handled channel locks is what I've used to collapse the caliper piston ...faster than c-clamp
Thanks for another fun video. Always good to see Merlin.
i so miss my dad watching you guys makes me smile because family is everything
I lost my DAD almost 3 years ago and I miss him every day !!!! Enjoy the time you have with family it's very important !!!
Awesome job and video! My father told me, " If you're going to own a vehicle, you need to know how to work on it!" I learned a lot. Thank you and your Dad for sharing 😊 🙏

I'm surprised you didn't fit a piece of old Spark Wire Boot to those missing Caliper Pin Boots 🤔😔
Thanks I wish my dad was around glad you’re spending time together

Beautiful Day! Family and life’s journey!
Boys are always happy when wheels are going round moving. Great to see Dad wrenching on bike with boys watching .

Cherish the time you have with your Dad. Mine has been gone since 2018; not a day goes by that I wish I could talk to him.
I love watching you guys fix stuff
I know you focus on content but subscribers follow characters as much as content. Your dad and you are characters worth following.
I wish i could afford a pipe bender like yous have. They are awesome to have around
For power tools I've switched from 20v Dewalt to Makita for our construction trailer, it's been about 2 seasons now with no failures. I've got Milwaukee in the shop but as they wear out they're going to get switched too.
Another great video, thanks, Sean and Dad.
Ya must do good work for a good price ... Gettin er done
More like low price high quality is my guess (and they get stuff done) 👽🗿👽🗿👽
Thanks for the video Sean
Pretty nice work on the exhaust.
Hi from Seattle! Learned a new term Bran-used. Love your channel 😊
Loved this video, again ! You Boys are doing a great job.
Just popped in gotta get to work will watch later today
I bought a bag of rubber bands at Staples and use them. #63 is the size. Amazon has them too. 3" x 1/4" measurement. They last for years in the bag and months out of the bag.
Love to see you taking care of family and living life. Congratulations
Little things but very important.....always busy😊
Love your show. Awesome
A mouse in your boot or a mouse in a sprinkler bird. Both are things I don’t miss.
Really Awesome video 👍👍👍👍🙏Keep them coming.
We will!
Another great informative video thanks 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it

JDTCO sell a strap to hold them battery’s in place👌🏽keep up the good job 👍🏽
Those drilled rotors added 50HP for sure lol. Great Vid y’all. Keep em comin Shawn. Still miss you @Fabrats tho
Personally, i use kobolt 1/2 inch, and 3/8 impacts work great. Might give them a try
If I lived closer, I would like to wax your dad's red truck.
If it's collapsed far open the master cylinder cap . To give the fluid a place to go if it was full at the start
I got my little John Deere 670 diesel running . But the John Deere build y'all are thinking about will still be cool and show me what I should have done
Father and son works on cars. Love it.
Pelle from Sweden

Those hangers if you spay some WD40 when putting on and taking off works great

Thanks for the tip!
Love your channel!!!😄
Thank you so much!!
Good Day. 👍😊
You too!
I always change the calipers and rotors they’re not that expensive
I just changed all four of mine on my 06 chevy 2500
Stainless steel brake lines all around new fuel pump and lines
I always drill a small hole I the low spot in my muffler so it doesn’t rot out from the inside.
The seized brake sliders, I like to find a drill bit that fits to clean the rust out as well as the bolt. The c clamps work great, cheaper than buying the new tools just for that
Bosch... the best
I love my Hercules impact got bolts out that the red brand cant lol
Dude I swear cousin Merlin looks a lot like you're old man.
About your Milwaukee,,,,,duck tape!!
Drilled and slotted rotors will warp if you don't break them in properly
Liven the dream
👍👍

You should try asking robby about Milwaukee haha, he loves them and has alot of their stuff im sure he could sort you out lol 10:12
Disc brakes I just get new slier kits and be done ✔️ 😊😊
My Hemi Ram work truck would fit in that spot and it needs to sound like that too ✓ Just the drive from Texas to get new exhaust is a little far .
My Milwaukee batteries get jammed and I have to smash them against something to free them up. If I didn't have so much money in them I would buy something else! Maybe buying some one use junk is not so silly after all.
Into the Bin
I would've helped w the water but I only have 1 properly working hand generally, so I wouldn't be much help! Plus, it's kind of a long walk from here!
I will be in on to in Melon too😊
👍🏻👊🏻
At over 300K miles, I am thinking the rear brakes have been done a couple of times, o they aren't working right. :)
Kids making obnoxious noise is OK. When they get quiet, trouble is cooking.

👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
Put a piece of gorilla tape on the slides to hold the battery. Jury rigged
Milwaukee makes a newer lithium ion battery that is lighter and compact!
Good thing having a dad around ??

❤😂🎉😅😊
Hey, don't be knocking that horrible sound coming out of my V6 without a muffler. LMMFAO
Can’t get lost in that Jeep with the map on it. If you don’t know where you are just get out and read the map.
Looks like on the Jeep with the bad muffler he got all his money's worth out of the old one fore sure.
Ill watch what ever you and your dad does. Just keep doing it. I want to see you do good man.
CRAFTSMAN
