It is crazy this is the only video on yt so far. This is a great light for a small appartment. Lots of flood light and won't blow out your red dot against a white wall. on my 11.5" 556
I do have to agree with you. Lumens and candela aren’t everything, especially when it comes to a small space and in a self defense scenario. The selling point for this light is exactly that along with the trust of and established Surefire name.
How is this the ONLY m140a video on RUclips. Haha. Thank you for making this. I just wanted to see how big it was in someone's hands. I just bought one to put on a Ruger 22/45 Lite. So we shall see how it goes
Does it work ok if you put a single use lithium AAA battery into it? You know the Energizer ones. They are still "1.5v" batteries, but do tend to put out a bit more than the NIMH this thing comes with.
Can you show the install of the m loc? I would like to see how it comes apart. The way you have it, it looks like it would be mounted on the left, based on the way it pivots. Could the picatinny be installed the opposite way to allow for right side mounting? Thanks for the vid!
You just take whatever mounting adaptor you are using (the MLOK or picatinny) and flip it. This will allow you to mount it either on the left or the right side.
Is there an IR version of this? Or an IR head assembly/bulb replacement? Or could you recommend a Surefire Scout model that is available or convertible to IR only? I'd prefer to have a dedicated IR light and not a combo. If micro was available in IR only I would purchase several for a few different weapons. I hate the white/IR combo units and prefer to keep my visible light devices separate from the IR devices. It's difficult to find a dedicated IR light.
I though it was an odd design choice. It’s kinda like attaching your EDC light from 2003 to your gun (in regards to size). The biggest seller is gonna be the light output from it. Far greater than your EDC light from 2003.
If surefire wouldn't price themselves out of the market I'd snatch some of these up. That's ridiculous. It says AAA but is it rated for 10440? Because you can get a Streamlight Microstream (original, not the USB rechargable) with 10440 battery. Single mode, momentary on capable forward clicky that's significantly brighter than the new USB rechargable microstream (but much shorter runtime, direct drive like 20 minutes). Good enough to clear a house, and you're out $30... but it doesn't have this cool angle adjustable pic rail mount.
You know, I was thinking the same thing at first but for a strictly HD purpose (in the home, not outside), I see it’s usefulness. Especially with the recent uptick in the ownership of sub 10” ARs. My wife didn’t like the size of the Scout mini, but the second she saw the micro she wanted that one for her 10.3”. And trust me, I know the Scout Mini is 100X better of a light but this seems to be a perfect weight, uses little to no rail space and provides a usable amount of light (for her). I would even consider throwing this on own my 7” AR…maybe.
@@GunBoxTherapy I was gonna say the scout mini does everything better and size, weight and rail space is negligible. I will say for me, there is no benefit for this light whatsoever.

Your comment was the validation I needed; just ordered the FDE for the badger!

I want to try one of these for my X95 SBR but the price is ridiculous for such a small light.
because its made in america
I thought the same idea..........

Is the mount reversible?
At first i thought it is a selfdefence kubotan. This would be also a great idea.
Why is the battery not "Surefire" brand?
How does the momentary light work? Mine isn't doing it.
Great video. They do offer these in tan now for those who are wondering eurooptic $296 quite steep tho

Unfortunately they don’t sell this in an IR only version or any IR version. They do sell IR only heads for the M340 Pro.
Modlite has IR only heads in 2 different wavelengths
I got the m340c mini but if this was available I would’ve went with this
The Afghanistan 20th anniversary model.

No. Unfortunately it does not.

Do they have a tape switch
These unfortunately do not allow for a tape switch to be connected.
