Full group performance at CoDance Jan 2012 in Chicago. Taylor breaks her foot at the around :51 coming down from a jete, and dances almost all the way through until her ankle just gives out completely, around 2:13 and runs offstage. They didn't place with this number. KENDALL IS DANCING WITH THEM!!

I had never seen the full version until now. I don’t know why Kendall had such a small part compared to the bigger girls. She looked great in her part, and she was capable of doing more. Vivi’s little robot arm was hysterical 😂
Because she never was an official Candy Apples member. She never really left ALDC. It was staged for drama. The producers liked Cathy. They came up with a storyline to keep her on the show. There are pictures of Kendall in the Silver spoons dance. Silver spoons happened while Kendall was supposedly at Candy Apples. Kendall had the Green dress on. So the drama about their only being one green dress was for the show.
Taylor actually stayed on a lot longer than they made it seem after she broke her ankle. You could tell she was off for awhile before she finally got off
At 51 you see he kinda land awkward I think she sorta sprained it there and after she's late and she looks like she's going lightly on it 👍🏻

Okay you gotta give that girl props. She danced almost the whole dance, as long as she could, with her injured ankle. They didn't let on how long she lasted with her bad ankle.
Something tells me that Taylor probably didn't even feel too intense of pain until afterward. Sometimes when you get an injury on impact but you're dancing/performing, your adrenaline is so high that you think you can go on. It was really admirable of her to keep dancing, but she may have made it worse by continuing to strain it after the impact. I hope she's okay, because she's a lovely dancer.

yeah, she fractured it when she fell at 0:51 then it completely snapped in two at 2:15. i'm impressed that she was able to continue dancing that long!

At :50 she is toward the left and falls out of her leap, she probably broke it one way here but then you see at 2:14 that she is wobbly on it and that's probably when it broke in the other place (she broke her ankle in two places)

Actually at about :50 you see her land on her ankle wrong,thats when she broke it.she danced through almost the whole thing. Good job taylor
God bless Taylor. You know, that must have been excruciating. I'm a dancer (have been since 2 years old), too, and I can hardly imagine how that must feel!

i think the reason you all hate this dance is because you know candy apples did it. if you had no idea who danced this, you all would like it, or would've found it at least pretty good or entertaining.
To be fair, Taylor did a really good job considering she broke her ankle right at the beginning! If I broke my ankle doing that, I wouldn’t of been able to stand up let alone run off the stage!
I honestly don't know why they don't win more... I think that Cathy actually comes up with some original stuff and it's cool!! And her dancers are good!!! I don't hate candy apples but I don't love them either. It's a love/hate thing.
Oh and I also feel really bad for Taylor!! It's obveious that she hurts her foot pretty much as the routine starts. She lands some sort of jump weird and her foot is weird from then on..I feel so bad for her!!!
I know this is 11 years later but the show honestly makes us wanna not like Candy Apples but besides that they actually have really good dancers and their dances are really creative!
i'm amazed she made it that far through the dance. i mean, look how many jumps she does and how many times all her weight is on that one foot...that's crazy!
she does a firebird, kicked her leg to her head while on releve on her broken ankle, and many more. She must of been in agonizing pain, poor girl:(

Wow, props to Taylor. Severe sprains are so painful, I can't believe she danced almost the whole way through on it. Severe sprains hurt extremely bad.
This is my favourite Candy Apples dance and Twilight is my favourite from ALDC. Kudos for Taylor dancing so long in this number being injured

@trinitystar96 Taylor is hardcore and awesome that's how! And smart - thinks quick on her feet (if you'll pardon the pun) after she broke her foot at :51 I think she changed what was supposed to be an aerial into a cartwheel, and that looked like the only modification she made - everything covered so well, even her early exit was as graceful as possible. I didn't even NOTICE it the first time I watched this vid. It's the reason I posted it - I am super impressed!!
Taylor handled this very well. I didn't even notice the cartwheel was supposed to be an arial until I watched it a few more times.

0:51 left side of stage you can see Taylor lands badly from a jete and fall to the ground in pain. That is the moment she broke her ankle and she powered through to the end of the dance!

As an adult, I am old enough to watch the show for entertainment and take everything with a grain of salt. The producers originally looked for a studio in Pittsburgh to challenge Abby and be put against her in competitions, and they all refused. Enter Cathy, friend and colleague of Abby, who is also a longtime friend of the producer. Candy Apples is on the show, ALDC gets their rival, and viewers everywhere are happy. Lol these people probably laugh about it once the cameras are off. What scare
Cathy has good dancers but not good choreo,thats why she never wins against abby

She hid it pretty well. If I didn’t know beforehand I never would have known until right before she actually walked off the stage. Good thing she wasn’t the one with the turning sequence.

I don't get how Cathy criticized abbey for "not used vivi to her full potential" yet all vivi does at candy apples is run on stage and then run off
I think it actually sprained or something at 1.24 when she does the hand flip thing and eventually breaks at 2.14

If you watch Taylor's right lower leg at 2:16 it goes out at a weird angle and then she runs off. So I'm guessing she slightly injured or broke it at :51, continued to dance, and then really messed it up at 2:16. Also, Justice watches her run off and it looks like he tries to recover the spacing at the very end when they are crawling forward.

The old candy apple numbers with the original cast were all bad (excluding the Spanish one) idk why but in season 2 there numbers always seemed like a mess especial this one
Zack Dean I think this one was cool, and could have been even better if they'd had more time to clean it...plus the costumes are really really nice.

That's amazing that she kept dancing after breaking her foot on stage, but she shouldn't done that. One of my teachers did that and broke it in 3 places cuz he kept dancing

actually Taylor breaks her foot at 0:52 ,you will see her fall and thats when she breaks it, at 2:13 it finally gives out and she gets off the stage because it hurt to much for her to bare.
