Sir for bottom main reinforcement Lapp:- from center of the beam we will avoid 50% length of the L/4 then after we will provide Lapp. Suppose clear span 6mtr, L/4 =1.5mtr and beam depth 300mm,bottom cover 30mm, bottom main bar 16mm, so effective depth will be 262mm. 2d= 524(2*262mm) So, we will avoid from the inner face of the column 524mm and also avoid from the center of the beam 50%of the L/4. So lapping area will be in beam. We are taking length From inner face to center of beam=3meter. I)Avoid 524mm from inner face of the column, 2)Avoid 50% length of the Second L/4 =750mm So= lapping zone area = 1.726meter(3Meter half span-524mm-750mm) I think you will all understand 🙏

Sir for bottom main reinforcement Lapp:-
