Stray kids have been a group for more than 6 years and have known each other for longer than that. They live in dorms together and literally spend more time with each other than with their family members. I feel like they've gotten so close and comfortable around each other that joking around like this isn't a big deal for them. Not to mention skinship being more common in Korean than perhaps other cultures. Personally I think they're just very comfortable around each other and their sus moves are them joking around. But if one does come out as gay or bi I don't think anyone would be surprised tbh 😅

So they don't or they pretend that they don't. They would rather them act like they are into each other rather than someone outside. Which is strange because Korea is not very accepting of homosexuality yet. This is why you'll see them doing fake dating shows etc. It's all part of the parasocial relationship fantasy. Any other group shows you watch, you will see this same thing. So it's hard to tell if they are really sus or not. I for one wouldn't care. But you better believe that if one of them came out as gay for real. The toxic fans will end their career
Yes absolutely! I’m new to kpop ,like a few months in . And so far I’ve definitely seen the trend of idol groups being openly affectionate towards each other, in ways that to say most Americans would find very sus. And if you’ve lived under the same roof for like 8 years.. you become very comfortable with the people you live with. They become your family. Just like SKZ. To me when i watch some of these videos I just see a bunch of brothers acting like brothers and playing gay chicken with each other to see who’s buttons they can push. And yes some can definitely push a bit further on that sus spectrum, but that being said I’m an affectionate person so I tend to be touchy with my close friends and family. And my kids are as well. But if I know it makes anyone at all uncomfortable I don’t do it to/around them.. I know most people tend to think physical touch means something sexual. And I can be kinda flirty especially towards my friends.. but it’s out of fun and being comfortable with them.. not because I’m sexually attracted to them..

okay, i see a lot of people who say they play it up for cameras- which in certain cases is true, but i feel like diminishes their actual bond. i have been into MANY kpop group in the last few years, and i can say that its kind of obvious when groups are doing fanservice. for example,skz cuddle pile is just that; a cuddle pile 😂 nothing deceptive about it, they just love each other lots and that’s okay. i think a lot of people can have their guards up about fanservice but skz talk about doing music together forever, living together even after theyre not a group, not seeing their lives without the other members, etc etc. u can easily see that they mean a lot to each other and i think it’s sweet :)
also i dont necessarily see any of the skz members dating eachother (besides a select few…) but i do see quite a few members being a part of the queer/lgbtq+ community. coming from a queer LOL
Yeah I think they are super genuine with everything and they are 100 & 10% themselves and I appreciate it even if I don't necessarily agree with everything but that's what makes everyone unique when you can have differences and still love another. It's much like my friends, we don't agree on everything but we cherish our friendship more than our differences and that just builds our bond.
