Everything the Arrowhead ceo has said has reinforced what Misty said about arrowhead knowing about this and supporting it because it will make it easier on legal requirements to ban people. You know misty the wokie, like a wokie yall cry about abusing power like they have done on discord. Everything spitz said during his little rant is now a proven lie because of what the ceo said. They did know about it and supported it not us. Yet yall acting Arrowhead has done nothing wrong. If you would stop and think for a minute instead of just crying you could see you have become the baddie and are the reason the entertainment industry sucks.

Steam didn't really refund anyone, they just gave people steam credit. Steam credit can't go back into your bank account. When you refund a game, steam gives you your money back, thus losing profit. Here, they gave people steam money to buy steam games/in game currency, so steam doesn't lose any money this way

In fact that would be a great indicator that Sony would try to force PSN on us with this game once more if they don't relist it back on Steam

My negative review will not change until I see the restricted countries reinstated on Steam. No countries should be left behind.

even for some of the countries that could buy the game still there were restrictions, for example Ukrainian players are required to have a ps4/ps5 to make a PSN account.
Sony also 100% got a call from the EU consumer protection board since Epic Games has pulled a similar stunt and was dragged through the EU courts and was forced to hand out refunds.

@@999Fuzo That mentality is exactly what will prevent things from changing. At it's peak, HD2 had 500k players, 24hr peak was 100k. 150k-500k is a splash in the bucket if you compare it to AAA games that have the popularity of games like Assassins Creed or CoD.
Assassins Creed Mirage for example was supposedly around 5mil players. CoD MW2 (2022) passed $2bil in sales.
If 500k (that many people did not speak out/refund/review bomb the game) made a difference to SONY INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT then millions of people can sway any AAA company, easily.
I agree with u. But its a dream that this will ever change. Game industry is a cancer nowadays. Because of people pre-order, buying their ultimate version and so on. No game no comes out complete. Is always half backed, ask full price for it, and rest of content call it a DLC and people buy it... Game industry is just greed now. And people support it.... unfortunately

Until Sony re-lists the game in the unsupported countries my negative review still stands. They can just be posturing on their twitter/X post until the reviews change. Give it til next weekend. Changing reviews to positive now will give them something positive in the share holders meetings today May 6. Wait til they give full announcement and position reversal and relisting before taking your negative reviews down.

I was thinking of buying HD2 after I finished moving. Unfortunately, not happening now. We've seen this before, they back out, wait for the fire to die down, then come back and do the same thing. Thanks Sony

Fellow Helldivers, let’s enjoy this victory for what it is, an Invasion Defense Mission. We held the planet, but it is still contested, and it cost us many Helldivers in the process who have refunded the game.
We need to take this victory and and push. We need to go on offense. We now need to demand free vouchers to anyone who refunded the game who would like to return now that the requirement has been dropped.
We should also demand that Sony fire whoever was in charge pushing this requirement in the first place, so they learn that we gamers are serious. We need to make sure they don’t try pushing this again in 6 months or a year once things have cooled down and people have forgotten.
And don’t forget to go in and change your negative review to a positive review. Reward good behavior, punish bad behavior. Carrot and Stick tactics.

I bought helldiver's 2 literally a day after I built my new PC which happened just days after all the tarkov shit , I was going to have the two most hyped games I was looking forward to playing being possibly the biggest shit storms in recent gaming history. Thank goodness helldiver's isn't run by russians

If only BSG was like sony
as much as I'd like to say "gamers won" your report isn't just ture at all. Arrowhead admitted they knew months before release that Sony wants to have PSN integration on this game. Which they agreed to but couldn't implement cause of server issues. I get it, everyone hates Sony, but this wasn't solely their fault.
By far the biggest overreaction from a player base I have ever seen/heard of. It literally says psn account needed when you bought the game. Only good thing is that if the game was going to be unavailable in your country it won’t be anymore. But if you bought a game knowing that then that’s on you. Just saying 🤷🏼♂️

they deleted the game from steam for allot of countries, those that could play just had it taken away, we lost good men this day.
"remember malevelon creek" nono, "remember what PlayStation did" let this be a lesson that PlayStation is never for the gamers, i hope the hd2 devs get away from that company and go solo or team up with someone like devolved digital, they deserve to make good things without limitations.

My problem with all this is that arrowhead KNEW ahead of time that this would be an issue. Admitted that they knew they were operating under a temporary waiver of the account, AND they expected this exact problem and they sold it anyway.
Arrowhead the developer doesn't sell the game. Sony, the publisher does.
@@SuaatanaTube the developer chose the publisher. They still have to agree to the contract. And they were expecting the rug pull by Sony since they knew about it before the game went on sale. The developer absolutely has input on distribution.
