One of the many reasons Batman is the only "super hero" I still love as a 17 yr old is how most of the villains show realistic psychological problems, Joker especially. Batmans villains represent real life horrors. Banes disgusting childhood represents how cruel certain countries can be putting him in prison as a baby. Scarecrow shows he needs to make others suffer in fear so he can feel better about his own, Killer Croc, although a fictional character himself, represents perfectly how people can be cruel to those that look or are different. And Joker, well who wouldn't become a monster like him after what happened in his Killing Joke origin, although he deserves to die at this stage, I think Joker has a very acurate opinion of humanity, after what happened to his pregnant wife, Joker feels the world is a horrific joke, and if violence, cruelty and destruction is hilarious to the world, well then there's only one way he can finally be a great comedian now isn't there?
Heath Ledger's and Joaquin Phoenix's Jokers both represent the cruel and unjust society. Heath Ledger's Joker represent that the society can be fall into anarchy and chaos, and that rules and laws can be broken, while Joaquin Phoenix's Joker represent that the society would be cruel to the person and would break them down further and further until they couldn't take it anymore and become the monsters we tried not to be.

How Mark Hamil Should be Buried In a Purple Tuxedo, Holding a Lightsaber and a Joker Card How Kevin Conroy Should be Buried Pitch Black Suit, like all black. Tie and Shirt. With a Batarang in his hand and a bat symbol on his casket. Just my opinion.... I am gonna be so sad... This is not only Goodbye to Joker, But Marks Wonderful, Hilarious raspy and grouchy voice.
You can truly tell The Joker and Batman kind of love each other, Joker never really wanting Batman to die and Batman being so devastated at Jokers death that he won't speak to anyone, even his own adopted son And father figure for a few weeks
i love how his performance goes from moments of menace to being an honest declaration of love, even at the end when he does the final youuuuuuuuu" it almost sounds more weepy then laughing, that's why Hamill is the best ever.
This song is beautiful and Joker singing it to Bats is even more beautiful. It still gives me chills till this day. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill will always be the real Batman and Joker to me. What a beautiful serenade.
“Remembering’s dangerous. I find the past such a worrying, anxious place. “The Past Tense,” I suppose you’d call it. Memory’s so treacherous. One moment you’re lost in a carnival of delights, with poignant childhood aromas, the flashing neon of puberty, all that sentimental candy-floss… the next, it leads you somewhere you don’t want to go. Somewhere dark and cold, filled with the damp ambiguous shapes of things you’d hoped were forgotten. Memories can be vile, repulsive little brutes. Like children I suppose. But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we can’t face them, we deny reason itself! Although, why not? We aren’t contractually tied down to rationality! There is no sanity clause! So when you find yourself locked onto an unpleasant train of thought, heading for the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember there’s always madness. Madness is the emergency exit… you can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened. You can lock them away… forever.”
First of all, I love this song. It works perfectly as a love song. This my couple song which I share with my beloved, whom means the world to me. Who knows, maybe you'll read this. Anyway, this is probably my favorite performance of the song. A, because it's how I first heard it. B, it's the Joker singing it for crying out loud. Mark Hamill himself. And finally, because I think you can actually feel the love Joker has for Batman in the voice. I may be the only one who feels it, but I love it. Thank you so much Arkhamvideos for making this awesom video.
Only you, can make all this world seem right Only you, can make the darkness bright Only you, and you alone, can thrill me like you do And fill my heart with love for only you A-ha Only you, can make all this change in me For it's true, you are my destiny When you hold my hand, I understand The magic that you do You're my dream come true My one and only you A-ha Only you, can make all this change in me For it's true, you are my destiny When you hold my hand, I understand The magic that you do You're my dream come true My one and only you One and only you see you soon bats!
Joker, who had experienced tragedy and loss and seen the cruelty of society and humanity decided to become the very said face itself. Batman on the other hand, experienced almost the same thing but decided to become the champion of goodness of society and humanity instead. This is why Joker is so obsessed with Batman. He knows Batman had suffered as he did at the hands of society but still kept his hope of humanity. It is like those situations where you find a comrade with a common background and yet you end up on vastly different paths. Joker only wanted Batman to see the "error" of his ways, and to abandon all hope for humanity. To Joker, having Batman abandon his path of good and walk the dark path like him is his mission in life. It is in his mind, to save a comrade that is too far gone.
This truly brings some emotions. How it makes you think of all Batman stories and interactions with Joker. I am a long time fan of Batman; he inspired me to do many things and he spent a lot of time with me throughout many ages. The way joker sings this song along with the background of Batman Arkham city makes me remember all these things I’ve gone through with Batman. And I guess, Batman is The Only One for me.
This is symbolism of the truth behind the joker and Batman's animosity, being that the joker sees batman as his only friend who gives him the will to continue on his insanity and crime fueled life, which, contrasts with the heroic but lonely life of batman. and when the joker died he left this voicemail to tell Batman the Truth of how much he meant to the joker. Wow, just writing that made me shed a tear😢
When I heard the voicemail at the end credits I started crying but when I started hearing the actual song I started laughing too. That one thug in AK wasn't lying. Joker does make you cry, laugh, and hurt all at the same time.
As sad, tormented, demented, and crazy Batman and Joker are, they truly feel like more than characters. They’re real people in a way, and they’re genuinely closer to each other than anyone, understanding each other more than themselves. Batman knows Joker relies on him, and attention, but doesn’t realize he’s just as crazy, if not more. Joker knows Batman is incorruptible, and crazy too, and that they’ll be bonded forever through such genius writing. They are a twisted and toxic relationship, where Batman sees Joker as a nemesis, and Joker sees Batman as a frenemy, where it’s all a big game to him, and without Batman the game isn’t fun, it’s meaningless.
First it was 'Without Batman, there is no Joker.' Now it's the other way around. Joker said in the game that Batman has no one to talk to, no one that accepts and understands him except Joker and he was right. They can't just let Joker die... It's not fair...
This just hits different now. Rest in peace, Kevin Conroy.

Genni G Fox "My anaconda don't want none, unless you caught Bats hun!"
shoogamoogaman singing that to Harley. She gets Batman right away.
this needs to be on itunes
You got to be fuckin' kidding me!... Why some new crap when you can list him singing "Unforgettable" of Nat "King" Cole, "Strange" of Grace Jones... Even list something like "I'm so happy i could cry" from Frank Zappa... Love that selection!...
+Mauro Yañez Psycho any one?
How Mark Hamil Should be Buried
In a Purple Tuxedo, Holding a Lightsaber and a Joker Card
How Kevin Conroy Should be Buried
Pitch Black Suit, like all black. Tie and Shirt.
With a Batarang in his hand and a bat symbol on his casket.
Just my opinion.... I am gonna be so sad... This is not only Goodbye to Joker, But Marks Wonderful, Hilarious raspy and grouchy voice.
Hey.. we got Troy
***** Yes he is he does a perfect impression
+Officer James Lorant I'd rather see Hamill buried in a purple Jedi tunic. Honestly, I'd rather he stay alive forever.
Jeanette Tutt Troy is a good actor but Mark Hamill just can't be replaced.
Defending The Law With a Keyblade too for Markham
You can truly tell The Joker and Batman kind of love each other, Joker never really wanting Batman to die and Batman being so devastated at Jokers death that he won't speak to anyone, even his own adopted son And father figure for a few weeks
Batman and Joker's Relationship is like some twisted love story, its kind of sad when the person that understands you the most is your worst enemy
Even at the events of arkham knight he still blames himself for jokers death and gets all grumpy whenever joker is mentioned
@@garysmithfan1432 Even with the giant 4 year gap between games, I believe knight takes place only like a year after city. Idk where I heard that tho.
@@tysorestsl2898 you'd be right. From the intro we can take that Arkham Knight takes place the Halloween following the winter of Arkham City.
Best Batman villain of all time.
_BEST VILLAIN OF ALL THE TIMES FROM ALL HQ'S FROM THE EXSISTENCE OF THE UNIVERSE_
No, best character ever
no way!, HE IS THE BEST FUKN CHARACTER IN EVERY DIMENSION PLANET AND UNIVERSE
@@datduckyboi4510 bats is better
i love how his performance goes from moments of menace to being an honest declaration of love, even at the end when he does the final youuuuuuuuu" it almost sounds more weepy then laughing, that's why Hamill is the best ever.
Joker totally had a major crush on Batman.
The Joker 10259 yes :3
Haha ,DON'T tell Harley!!
Joker and batman had a twisted friendship joker and batman understood each other
+The Joker if we do tell her, you'll just beat her up and get out so why afraid of her?
+mateusgames Shhhh...!Grabs crowbar¡
This song is beautiful and Joker singing it to Bats is even more beautiful.
It still gives me chills till this day.
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill will always be the real Batman and Joker to me.
What a beautiful serenade.
It's destined that they were made to do this forever
Mark Hamill has perfectly performed two of the best characters in nerd history
It should be noted, the song is played completely straightforward, there isn't any irony on it, just a sincere love song to his archenemy
these songs now hit diff R.I.P Kevin Conroy
I'm listening to this song after Kevin passed away and it really hits different now
“Remembering’s dangerous. You can lock them away… forever.”
..Why would you reply with a "xD" Do you even know what that is from?
So, I take it that you don't know what that's from.
***** I do can I answer it? Please!
Please do! This child sickens me!
***** The killing Joke am I correct?
Rest In Peace Kevin. This is one of the best ways to honour you. You'll forever be Batman.
R.I.P Joker. 😢
Сербский Воин joker was amazing he deserves an Rest In Peace not r.i.h
RIP Kevin Conroy, the iconic voice for Batman and a great person
That last "One and only Youuuu..." made me cry. It is just so beautiful :'((
First of all, I love this song.
No, it's because Joker's fucking crazy
@@EX-MartialEmpress9 didnt ask😂
Man, the relationship between Batman and the Joker is a thing of beauty!
Goodbye, Bats.....
Only you, can make all this world seem right
Only you, can make the darkness bright
Only you, and you alone, can thrill me like you do
And fill my heart with love for only you
A-ha
Only you, can make all this change in me
For it's true, you are my destiny
When you hold my hand, I understand
The magic that you do
You're my dream come true
My one and only you
A-ha
Only you, can make all this change in me
For it's true, you are my destiny
When you hold my hand, I understand
The magic that you do
You're my dream come true
My one and only you
One and only you
see you soon bats!
ppiinnn this!
I'll be honest: when I first beat the game about a month ago, I waited through all the credits not knowing about this. I cried while he was singing.
“Without Batman, crime has no punchline”
-The Joker (Mark Hamil)
It's so sad how this song actually makes sense in the context of Batman and Joker.
Batman and Joker, perfect couple.
It's been 4 years I hope you grew out of this weird phase.
... far from perfect

This hits so hard now that Batman has truly died. Rest in peace Kevin Conroy, forever the definitive Batman. ❤
Looks like we're all here for the same reason. :(
😢
Rest in peace Kevin Conroy, Goodbye Batman.
R.I.P Arkham Batman 😢
In my opinion mark hamill is the best voice actor for the joker no one will ever be able to pull that voice off except for him
Literally the most exiting and bizarre way to end.
I never knew The Joker could sing! So beautiful
Rest in Peace Kevin Conroy, the one and only Bat's 🦇 💔
back when games were made with love... not greed.
RIP Kevin now the joker has no one to fight now 😢
Only you one true batman. RIP Kevin
All these years later, I just now realized that The Joker has a damn fine taste in music!
Brings a tear to my eye.
That "see ya soon bats" gave me shivers
This song makes me cry. It's like you knew a friend you never got to know
@Bilbo Baggins Ha 🙄
Long live the Knight, thank you Kevin.
Joker will always be Batman’s Soft Spot in his heart!
joker loves batman confirmed
Joker: But am gonna act like I wanna kill this Mosquito eating mammal.
You're blinded by your weird ships
@@chilip7386 have you read the comics?? Joker fucking admitted that he is in love with Batman bruh.
@@kingavarga1191 Someone gets it.
@@kingavarga1191 true but it's unrequited, batman doesn't feel the same way towards him
First it was 'Without Batman, there is no Joker.' Now it's the other way around. Joker said in the game that Batman has no one to talk to, no one that accepts and understands him except Joker and he was right. They can't just let Joker die... It's not fair...
cry every time I watch this I luv joker
R.I.P KEVIN YOU WILL ALWAYS BE VENGEANCE. YOU'LL BE THE KNIGHT. YKULL BE THE BATMAN!!!!!!!!!!!
The tape recorder ass effect really hits it even more.
He's gone but his voice will still be here
