Must say if you put while listening to after hours/ dawn fm if you but the three bonus tracks “nothing compares” between snow child and escape from la “missed you” between repeat after me and after hours and “final lullaby” at the end it sounds much different and if you put “moth to a flame” between I heard your married and less then zero it kinda makes sense ish
After Hours and Dawn FM were amazing and it really worries me that this will be the worst of the trilogy because both of the singles he’s put out have been generic and not nearly as great as Blinding Lights, Heartless, Gasoline or Take My Breath were which were all singles for the previous albums! All of those singles hit, were super catchy, good writing and were bangers that you couldn’t stop listening to. Timeless was so basic, the writing was lazy, no good chorus or hook and really was his worst single of the past two albums despite Carti and Weeknd stans saying it was amazing. Should be put on Carti's album instead of Abel's🤷♂️ Dancing In The Flames was decent but it just didn’t hit like anything off of the previous albums. I’m just worried there won’t be much of a concept or consistent theme for this album like Dawn FM or After Hours had.
So glad I’m not the only one who found Timeless to be utterly horrible as a Weeknd song. I’m not a Carti fan at all, so really any collaboration these two have is a mixed back for me. That aside, I’m also nervous about this album because as fun as Dancing in the Flames is, I agree it does not hit the same as his other singles. It feels like this album might end up being more of a huge cash grab before ditching The Weeknd name altogether, which would only muddy the impact the previous two albums had. That being said, I’m excited to be getting the end of this trilogy, but I wouldn’t be shocked if this album is weaker than the previous two. That would really be a shame, because After Hours is perfect and Dawn FM is just if not almost as perfect.
Y'know he had character growth where he's literally in Family Guy singing the fact he rather served his virginity. A bit ironic because he had already lost it before with his indulgence but it's still deliver a positive message.
In terms of voice, I prefer The Weeknd’s but overall entertainment, Mike is far superior! His choreography was amazing and isn’t something The Weeknd has!

Its his most acclaimed work. As an album its easily his most coherent.
