Both Jessica's channel and Tom Hughes' "Thoughts on Painting" channel are my single sources of viewing the Plein Air experience. It has motivated me to go out and do this, which has improved my life in many ways. Great video, thanks

Very nice! I love the painterly style brush strokes....suggestive of detail without actually painting detail.

Nobody else paints en plein air as well as you. Also the mixing of colours is awesome. More please.

I learn something every time I watch you paint! This time focusing on the focal point & seeing the peripheral areas for their color, value & lack of detail finally made sense😊 thank you!

Excellent tips! I live near the Mississippi and have thought of doing some paintings on location...I like how you framed/decided to layout your composition

Hi Jessica, do you have a lot of equipment to set up for the plein air painting, as I do some watercolour outdoor painting and would like to use my oil paints as well. I thought your painting was very good and I enjoyed the video. Dominic ( Cornwall England)

Thanks, Dominic, I don't bring very much with me, in fact in this backpack I also had brought along my watercolor equipment, too. I just had the roll up for the brushes, my watercolor palette and the paper, a small bottle of water and collapsible container. This coming up weeks plein air video will feature what I bring with in my backpack for short hour long plein air trips. You could just add your WC things!
